I could only hope to have that much energy at 72 and out enjoying myself at a big event. Some people just have that lust for life and the man still has it.
Great as always! The Privateer Project deserves more coverage - should have its own race recap video showing how last times winner did and some coverage from the pits with them etc. It’s such a great idea - people would love to get more visibility into it I think.
Privateer project videos are coming as a full recap of each event this season and also telling the story of each winner, but we release these not directly after each event so we can put more focus in to telling the stories well.
Ronan and Wyn are so right about the Whoop bands. Unless only racers with inhumanly low heart rates are using them, I really doubt Bruni is crossing the finish line on a podium run with a sub-160 HR. Cool concept, but unfortunately really bad PR for Whoop...
Favorite GF story. I was in Moab for the 24hr race back in (I believe) 2001. I had borrowed a buddies old Lincoln stretch limo to drive out there from Chicago (complete with magnetic sign that said "Moab Express - Team Cooking with Chamois Butter". I parked out front of Poison Spider bike shop and went in and saw GF there. I quickly ran out to buy a disposable camera (it was 2001) and got back just as he was leaving. I asked to get a pic and threw my jacket in the limo. He looked at the car and exclaimed, "Is that yours?! I saw it driving through town. I love it. we have to use it in the picture." So I now have a picture of GF, the legend, holding the door of an old classic limo open for me.
Yay ebikes, let's make some money. I used to love Gary Fisher hardtails when I first got into the sport, but the price of ebikes is crazy, biggest money making racket in our sport. Maybe we should also have a hardtail class at Dh world cups to compensate for the ebike dh

No idea what that means but it sounds awesome!
