Some people are pulling it off and some aren't. A lot of 'New School' videographers are largly one trick ponies in my opinion.

Agreed. They are really unoriginal, and their efforts, in my opinion, are poor. The only effort into current vids are the craftsmanship in there obsticles. Not tryin to bash everything here. Ther is alot of really great stuff out there. A new movemnet needs to happen. New angles. Less of this real close up shit, where you see half the rider, whether you see just the bike or just the rider.

Personally I'd like to see more documentary style video's. There are way too many 'Promo' vids out there (This is me being a little hypocritical having just uploaded one myself), but for every person riding theres someone out there building a crazy new line or just doing something a little bit different - This is what we need to be seeing more of; The real movers in the industry, not just the music video style edits. There's nothing wrong with a bit of bike porn, but even Megan Fox is going to get boring one day.

YUP! I love to watch vids that involve verbal communication to us riders. The Fogelsodes kinda do that, and they are putting great and timely effort in to something new, which is awesome. Especially when it is coming from young guys like that.
I am hoping to get a doc. like vid down this summer. Hopefully it can happen.

Ya I agree mountain bike filmmakers need to get more original with there vids and try not to copy other people, I am trying to do that myself to express the ideas that I am coming up with. I really like the music video style videos, and yes they can still become boring, but I plan on making them different than what we usually see...
P.S. I don't think Megan Fox will ever get boring... lol

That was sick!
Bye.
