 I never wear a helmet. I ride up (and occasionally down) quarterpipes.
But trust me, If I was ever going to attempt clearing TWO flights of stairs going at a jillion miles an hour, I would wear one. Heck, let's make it two for good measure.

 most bmx riders chose not to wear helmets because they dont usually go as big as this unless their experienced. we wear helmets when there is a definate danger i know people say "oh well you could make a mistake one day and f*ck up" but really the chances of that are not that big but the danger is still there. look at mike aitken he is a pro thats been riding trails for years and he failed on a trick he had completely dialed. and yes i do think he could do it on a jump bike or a full sus but i dont think a street rider would know many (if any) people with a jump bike or full sus and im pretty sure he wouldnt go out and bu a bike just for gaps... how bout u local jump bike riders do it and rub it in his face lol that would be funny.... what a dumb*ss just for trying it tho
