yeah, he's a great rider and seems like a great kid, but it doesn't seem like he's ever experienced having an old bike he got all by himself and them working hard to get the bike he wants. seems like daddy bought it for him. if so i have a very low amount of respect (for these kinds of kids)

NorthEasternDH- If you had listened to the vid, he was thanking the help for the companies that are supporting him. Yes this kid is yound, but if you have been to a NW cup or fluidride cup and seem him ride, he is really good for his age. I don't wanna hate, just want to clarify that this kid is legit. and what i have to say is watch out World Cup, America is coming back!

ive known dan for a few years and can vouch for him. he is a straigh up pinner and works hard to be the best! he talks to the sponsors and does all the work to get where he is at now. i first saw him on a 24inch big hit grom pinning it at skibowl! i love you dano the mano!

Biking is just like any other sport as a youth. Most parents will bend over backwards and find any way possible for their kid(s) to be able to participate in a sport that they are interested in. Spending big bucks on equipment isn't just limited to biking. Hockey, baseball and many other sports are just as expensive with registration fees, equipment, traveling etc etc. It shouldn't matter who bought him the bike or how he got it (as long as it is not stolen or something), as long as he rides it hard and has respect for the sport he participates in. And most important of all, if he is having fun, then that is all that matters.

fuck the haters dan.
if any of you interweb-dork-jock offs rode with dano you'd know he rips solid, and has a good attitude.
two things required of sponsored riders these days.
it helps that he shows up and builds trials, sets up race courses and stood in the rain and cold at whistler to get the race off the ground.
shit like that keeps you on a team once you get there.
you really cant hate on a 14 year old that hasn't worked yet, its illegal till they are 15-jerks.
see you on friday, dawgs!!!

Dan's a great rider and a nice kid. TO all the haters, your just jealous that you have no life and instead of going out to get sponsors and work for a bike like Dan, you spend your time hating kids who do on pinkbike. Do yourself a favor and get off pinkbike.
Btw Dan, do you want to ride some time mid august at skibowl or mt. hood, my dad's fine with shuttling.
I'm the kid you met at some fluidride cup pa races and let try out your evil at the pa jumps as well as shuttled with at the mt. hood super d.,
interested in riding mid august or are you going to be up at whistler for crankworkz?
