It was actually done on Final Cut Pro 7 and Apple Color for the colour grading. The titles were done in Adobe After Effects CS5

I'd say Mac is better than Windows at EVERYTHING.. not just this stuff.
besides gaming... Windows does have better games...

Mac's have their strengths for certain tasks, they hardly have a total advantage over Windows/Linux though. For certain things they are close to useless.

I've used Final Cut Pro on both Windows and Mac (it was an older version from like 6 yrs ago when I was in highschool) and I'd say back then the only difference I saw was the Mac was waaaaayyyy more user friendly than Windows.
Nevertheless amazing VOD. Makes me wish I had the money to replace my blown out rear wheel on my one and only bike =(

Awesome video guys. Really enjoyed it, and kept me interested throughout the whole video, which with my attention span, is sometimes hard to do...
As for the Mac/PC stuff... I've been working with PC's for the past 3 years on Premier Pro. I love Premier Pro, but find PC's slow. Even if you buy a good one, they deteriorate quickly, freeze lots and just have way to many things going on in the background to slow them down. Mac's are simple, user friendly, and don't run 80 processes when you only have 2 programs open. Which is why for video stuff, I recommend them. Im investing in one soon.

@DhGabe - FCP has never been on PC, unless you used a Mac emulator or something. It wouldn't make a fair comparison at all.

The one we used it getting kind of old so it drops a lot of frames. I found the best way to minimize that was to clean the tape heads very often, like 2 or 3 times during a day of shooting. Also, I got a can of compressed air to blow out the tape mechanism and the tape it's self. The picture quality is really stunning for a consumer cam!
