Before Jaie Toohey headed off to the New Zealand Nitro Circus Tour, we caught up with him at Cam White's dirt jumps for a film shoot. The massive downhill set of jumps is Jaie's favourite place to ride, and from the moment he drops in, you can see how comfortable he is.

ide much rather see jumps and tricks all day than some guy riding fast down a trail. tricks at least have variety. ripping down trails is basically the same on camera. those vids all look the same to me.

Maybe the jumps have different sizes, but there are always the same tricks. And the locations always look the same,too. In my opinion its more fascinating to see some amazing locations and some fast guys who ripp down some stunning trails in beautiful landscapes rather then seeing a trick for the xth time. And even if these jumps are big, I have seen lots of them in so many videos. Thats just nothing special any more.

bmxer is right. its all awesome. ive done every kind of riding possible. i respect it all. the only one ive stuck to is dj and street. to me, seeing someone pull a corked 360 double whip on a 30 foot gap is more interesting than someone hauling ass through a rock garden.. but thats just my opinion..
