 whilst i agree that its DEFINITELY not common to see riders this age being any good. It can happen. There's a 7 or 8 year old fairly local to me, who's pretty damn awesome. He rides an 18" bmx (subrosa letum), so it's a bit more managable for him, but i've seen him 360 out of a mellow bowl. and he can air higher than some kids twice his age on a mini ramp.

 he's pretty good for his age, but he didn't actually throw anything down, not even a tweak of the bars on the dirtjumps. really he's just good at balancing, since thats what he was doing for the most part, he wasn't ripping it down any trails or anything. but pretty good for an 8 year old.
