 @Jackelope, just before it cuts out he begins to get a bit out of shape and looks like he's going a bit sideways. That's why. He might have landed it but it just looks a bit sketchy.

 Bit of a shame that all those gaps and whip jumps don't really demonstrate this guys guys skill. Would've been nice to see some more technical riding thrown in.

 Definitely not one of the better VODs... But there's plenty of days for other videos
