that build looks nice =D good vid
but what you think about that frame por AM riding? i mean, a multi-purpose bike that you can pedal well?
i have this choice or a commencal meta ht sx or a dartmoor hornet
bloodshot is cheaper and steel, i read that steel it's better for a hardtail of this style

This bike is super great, I have taken it DHing, Street riding and this style of pump track and DJing.
It feels good on all as the rear chain stays can be adjusted to short or long and the bike will take many different fork sizes.
In this video the fork is 160 but I lowered to 140 for more AM, XC to FR and DH to mix it all up.
At 160mm it was cool but for DJ and the pump track it felt long.

Here in this video my buddy and I both are riding a fireEye!

www.pinkbike.com/video/354327

The hornet is a cool bike my buddy owns one and the mete is also a great AM bike!
There are many choices!

What are you looking for the most?

AM, DH or DJ street with some AM?
  • + 1
 cool vid =D

i want the bike for AM/DH and maybe a little bit of street and DJ some times
i ride mainly dh, but i need to pedal, i don't have car and climb walking is boring so i want to pedal uphill and some times long rides, and when i go to other hills that i need to pedal more than 1 hour on the streets
so i think i want a AM/enduro/DH bike or all-round bike sounds better
my first option are commencal meta ht sx, dartmoor primal (hornet young brother) my problem with hornet is the 12x135 hub aren't cheap

i still think about the bloodshot but maybe for pedaling the meta and the primal are best choice, and tappered headtube is a plus

thanks for your answer =D

yo bro, you are welcome, i've had my fair share of pain too, yeah the hot/cold treatment stimulates enzyme activity (healing), also when you NEED to pop out riding before its healed maybe try a (cheap) neoprene knee support, you'll be like a spring lamb in no time!! (did you crash while spying on me? please don't follow me im normally lost) ha ha haa! RideOn!!
  • + 1
Thank you! Yes, I had it in a neoprene support for the first 2 weeks. It really did help support the knee and give me stability when I was working. I was peeking at you over a very tall fence while standing on a pile of boxes that slipped out from under me. I crashed hard, landing on my knee! Ouch! I couldn't get a good spy on you! Oh Man! RideOn mate!
  • + 1
hey bro, you could try the hot and cold method of repair, it speeds up recovery, a bag of frozen peas on your knee for 5 mins then leave for 5 mins then put a hot water bottle on your knee for 5 mins....you get the idea im sure. you'll be fixed in half the time, trust me im a doctor.......HealOn!

Thank you very much! The day I crashed, I was in horrendous pain. It was Sunday and didnt want to rush things. I washed off the blood and cleaned my wound, at the time I know something was wrong because it was swollen and I had no feeling in the knee at all, other than pain but that was around the knee! So, I took 2 pain relievers and went to bet elevating my knee wrapped in ice. I iced it for about an hour and then had my wife wrap the knee with bandages. Then, I was icing it everyday 3-4 times, it really does make a huge difference. Then, I would take a hot bath. First its winter and icing my knee make my body cold, hahah but second to heat the knee and flush in fresh blood. Now that I still have some pain left I need to keep it on ice and I will try the heat, Just short 5minutes cold and hot sounds easy! Thank you for the advice! HealOn!

 Good job brother !!
Sky blue frame, white handlebar beautiful.
The chair and your shoes, I had picked up !!
Hahahahaha.

By the way, nice clean track.
Weed does not grow?
Is that track managed?
  • + 1
Thank you brother! I love sky blue, the paint job came out really clean! Im very happy with it! The blue with white really looks good! The track is just 10 minutes from my house! Its managed by all the locals and our local bike shop. In summer weeds are crazy but now that its winter we have cleaned it up! This track is actually made on concrete so, as for weeds that might be one reason there are few but in the dirt, there are of course lots of seeds that will start popping out as spring comes! RideOn TakoSan!

I took it easy trying to push the pain away! ahhaha RideOn man!

Bike build looks sweet. I like the drop outs on that frame, solid looking. And its steel!Smile
A 160 mil fork up front? You can free ride and DJ with this set up. Nice!
  • + 1
Thank you! Yes, the drop out are adjustable from 400mm up to Happy 420mm. So, its a versatile HT that can be set for what you like. As of now it feels good at 160mm so Im going to leave it, hahahhah
  • + 1
Adjustable drop outs! The morpheous hard tail has that feature too. That frame is loaded with goodness. This bike must be a blast to ride bro. Ride On!

A fun bike, fun trails and a funny Niko! RideOn!
  • + 1
hhhahahah I was born upside down so, my whole life has been funny!

Sorry to say but the OnOne is sitting out while I play with the FireEye!

My first impression of the FireEye compared to the 456 Evo;
The frame is much stiffer, I can really tell how good the Evo was now at absorbing hits.
The FireEye has a stiff rock like ride.
The chainstays on the fireEye are shorter so, for this kind of riding its much easier to throw around.

If OnOne made a more DJ style bike, it would be perfect!
  • + 1
I know what you mean. Some years ago OnOne had a bike like that, it was called The Gimp.
  • + 1
Oh really, I would love to see it have a come back. My current 456 is perfect, just if I wish at times the chain stays could be adjusted to about 400mm! Im sure the 456 will get built up again but as Im keeping the frame. For now its going to be a fire eye! ahhahah RideOn brother!

Nice build! Way to rip wounded!
  • + 1
Im feeling pretty good, just have to grind through some lasting pain to be able ride! The frame is feeling really good. I thought the 160mm fork would be way too much for the frame and was planning on lowering it but it feels perfectly balanced! RideOn!
  • + 1
