that track has sssoooooo much more potential, heaps of spots for jumps and stuff, waste of a track other wise..

hahaha we didnt choose it to be vod so dont give us a hard time about it , btw we are building berms jumps etc noxw on this trail and we are getting a better camera and tripod haha

well put the video back on when you get a trail... and dont call it downhill... especially if you are putting more stunts in it now! its a freeride track okay!

no disrespect to you vid bro, it was great, but who the f*ck!!!!!!! chooses vod? who ever it is just likes videos shot in hd COME ON vod should be a more all around good video. not just good quality camera. i feel bad because this guys video is good and shouldnt be bashed on so much, but by making a less than "vod worthy" video vod, its gonna be subject to unnnduuue scrutiny blah

2) The camera work isn't even that bad. It'd just need a tripod. Editing and most "detail shots" were really good (except some excessive slow-mo).
3) The guys who choose the VODs are the same guys who run the site and I guess that selecting a not "Vod worthy" video won't make them less good in what they do.
4) Stop complaining and learn to support the scene.

The overall mood was alright. Though, some technical imperfections (the lack of a tripod in some of the shots) make it look a bit too amateur-ish.
I suggest you try to play with exposure and white balance (nearly every SD cam offers such settings) to get better colors. Otherwise, try to color correct (saturation, contrast, brightness) in your video editing software.

I was disapointed. it wasn't that great. some good angles, but the spots where the camera was supposed to be still, it wasnt, someone was clearly holding it. if you can afford a tripod, then atleast set it on top of something.
also, the slowmo. there was too much, and the rider wasnt going fast enough to deserve it. the first slowmo, i thought he was just going slow, until I compared the lean of the bike to the motions the rider was going through.
not really VOD worthy. if you fix some of these things though, it would have some potential

I thought the camera techniques were good - (could use a tripod + less slomo). But it needs to be waay better edited, the riding needs to be waay sicker i.e jumps, berms, and tricks. Why the hell did he come down looking like it was rad!? didn't look it. Its a shame cause the build made me thought it would be kl. NOT VOD!

all these guys commenting are fucking harlets. i think that despite the actual footage not being all that extreme, the video was well filmed and edited. and like you said having fun is what ridings about, not giving people greif on pinkbike, these people arent the true riders. so carry on making video's and do what you enjoy doing, so maybe if you want a VOD use more intresting footage. HAVE FUN RIDING NOT RANTING!!
