More than 350 riders headed to Wisla, Poland, for the first race of the season. Conditions were perfect on Saturday, but deteriorated when the rain arrived that night. Riding for Evil Bikes, Slawek Lukasik took the win. NS Bikes' Hubert Posmyk was racing on the prototype downhill bike, and ended up in 10 place.

screw that cartoon-like over sized cheque non-sense. handing the winner a fat wad of cash is the way to do it!

Prototype? Looks like it working quite well to me. Get-er-dun!
  • + 15
I'm not sure if it is a prototype or its called prototype..

 or at rampage
  • + 6
a commencal with a horst link pivot.
  • + 9
How many polish designers does it take to build this frame? No seriously how many? ???no polish jokes please this is a serious website with neon colored mtb enthusiasts.
  • + 6
lovin the throwback music to cams dj segment in seasons and it definitely looks like a khs
  • + 11
@Kranked350z, you mean Sam Pilgrim taking it for a cross country ride?
  • + 1
I was wondering if Sam would be at the rampage this year on this new dh bike. Probably handle that terrain alot better than a 7" bike like the soda he used last time. Either way I want one of these frames. Please put into production asap and sell in US. Will do very well with that design and graphics/paintjob look awesome.

More like the fusion system than commencal! Better than commencal for sure!
  • + 1
Thats my kind of system! Give me one please and trails will blaze.

Wisla....Sounds like an Aussie saying Whistler!
  • + 1
True That... Looking forward to Opening day!
  • + 2
Actualy... the bike park has a nick name related to Whistler but I won't say it because it is not translateable from our strange language. Wisla, read Vissua, is the name of the town nearby. BTW the biggest river in Poland with the same name has it's estuary around.
  • + 1
Waki, I think that you mean basin, not estuary (btw - the Vistula forms delta).
But, we are still in the Carpathians, so... Wink

Wisła means Vistula, because the Vistula River rises at Barania Góra Mtn - nearby the Wisła Town.
  • + 1
Fick, I meant source... Idiot me... And talking global scale we can say that the source of Vistula is pretty much in Wisla Big Grin , it's like 5km from there. 45mins by bike from the reservoir in Wisla Czarne

it looks like a cross between a kona operator and a commencal supreme
  • + 10
Looks like a cross between a who cares and why does it matter. Seriously, just look at the pivot placement. It's clear as day!!!

I have same feelings when I go to London ... I`ve never saw any Britisher there .... are you all sits in basements??
  • - 5
Nah we're all in Spain only spending our money in british owned shops and hiding our ill gotten gains. I hate this immigrant dissing shit, its a fu**ing international world nowadays boys
  • + 16
You mean you are in Spain getting drunk and jumping from the balcony?
  • - 4
Yes you're right, London is a foreigner infested rat piss stinking shit hole.
  • + 2
^^^^ i'm gonna assume you're being ironic, otherwise you must just be a c***

@pichy dude if i was in Spain i'd be too busy ripping around on some of those sick dh tracks you seem to have in abundance to spend any time tripping over balconies :-)

hey thats a nice ns bikes supreme dh v3 Wink seriously that looks almost identical to a commencal save for the paint job and the different pivot location at the rear wheel
  • + 15
so is "Looks like a Commencal" gonna be the new thing?
  • - 5
Apparently all DH bikes look like Commencal's and all AM bikes look like Sessions. There was a memo on lameness you may have missed.
  • + 5
I have a supreme dh v3, trust me I know when a bike looks like mine
  • + 15
I know what you mean, im so tired of all hardtails looking the same. Rolleyes
  • - 2
Yes the shocks placement and upper linkage are similar but that is it. 1 is single pivot. 1 is FSR. So technically it looks like a Kona. . . . . . . .
  • + 0
Man sooo sick of people calling all bikes with a horst a FSR... Horst link is not a big deal... This rear end is floating and is nothing like and FSR... For me, FSR need to have 2 pivots on the seat tube. Something you definitely don't have here... yes it looks like a Commencal V3 but with a horst link. Does it ride so much different than a V3 because of the Horst link, maybe but there is a hell of a lot more to a bike than a f*cking Horst link...
  • + 2
There are so many bike companies out there it is very hard to make a bike that is truly unique. Most of the small bike companies lack the R&D funds to build and test a bike of their own design. So they go to Taiwan pick parts out of the big Taiwan bike catalog.

Here is another case in point.

@ScaryGary, you are right about FSR vs Horst link, but do you think most of the mouth breathing groms on this site know what Horst link is? That is why I just say FSR around these parts.
  • + 1
I'm not hating on the design, trust me I think it's great other bikes look like mine, if it rides as good then I'm all for it

  • + 1
It looks seriously like a commencal indeed. It also looks very-erm-plasticy? but nice indeed...
