A bit of perspective is gained after a season of travel and racing all over the country. It’s comforting to return home and rip the bread and butter trails you grew up on. I am fortunate to call picturesque, Stowe in Vermont home. With the dedication of Stowe Mountain Bike Club, countless miles of trails are maintained steps away from my front door. Mountain biking planted roots in Stowe and its surrounding areas well over 20-30+ years and continues to grow and progress with every season.

The familiarity of the classics and the excitement of the newly built trails brings enjoyment from sunup to sundown. Take any number of turns off the new age flow trails and find yourself on blasts from the past that are riding as good as the day they were built. If you know where to stick your head or the right person to ask, you may even stumble across an occasional jump line or hidden freeride zone. There were even small lines from the original New World Disorder movies filmed in the area.

There are many reasons I look forward to the annual return trip home to Vermont each fall. The dirt is perfect, the scenery and foliage are spot on and the weather is ideal for riding. With mid-season responsibilities waning and the increase in daily shred sessions with friends, fall becomes the best time of year.

Thanks to everyone that supports me and allows me to live the good life!
Cheers,
Dylan Conte

Oh god, I've been doing Flo wrong this whole time! Watching dudes at Whistler sending massive jumps you've never ridden nor are ever likely to ride is one thing; watching someone lay down some professional steeze on a trail you crawl down twice a week is another. Much respect.

It's great that VT is becoming so big and diverse lately. Also for anyone in lower New England, it adds a new whole new type of riding within driving distance. In my town the biggest elevation change happens when you go from the second story of your house to the attic.

Great riding, I liked the tree taps. Nice to have people who use something other than rap in their videos.
You can tell where this guys priorities are, as his bike probably cost a lot more than his truck :-)
Keep it up!

I liked this video's music, but I disagree with your assertion that there's too much rap in MTB videos... I don't think there's enough!

Lol exactly, I think rock is the most used in mtb videos. I personally like rap in mtb; it adds more personality imo

Loved every minute of this video! Cady Hill trails are in my top 5 for favorites, and Stowe is my absolute favorite place to go. My wife and I have been going there every fall for the last 10 years, and actually got married in Stowe last year. I road Cady Hill the morning of my wedding day, so those trails have a special meaning to me.

Love this guys VW Caddy too! Sick! VW owner myself Smile

Respect!

Funny to realize the amount of possibility in an area where I visit family often. Looks like Ill be skipping on a few get-togethers this coming season.,. should go over well with the wife.

Sweet riders, sweet riding, and sweet trails! My friend rides there all the time and it is great, I've only been a few times though

Gotta get up there next year. Reminds me of when I used to cart my moto bike around in the back of my lowered rabbit pickup. Must be a New England thing!
