More than 350 riders headed to Wisla, Poland, for the first race of the season. Conditions were perfect on Saturday, but deteriorated when the rain arrived that night. Riding for Evil Bikes, Slawek Lukasik took the win. NS Bikes' Hubert Posmyk was racing on the prototype downhill bike, and ended up in 10 place.
How many polish designers does it take to build this frame? No seriously how many? ???no polish jokes please this is a serious website with neon colored mtb enthusiasts.
I was wondering if Sam would be at the rampage this year on this new dh bike. Probably handle that terrain alot better than a 7" bike like the soda he used last time. Either way I want one of these frames. Please put into production asap and sell in US. Will do very well with that design and graphics/paintjob look awesome.
Actualy... the bike park has a nick name related to Whistler but I won't say it because it is not translateable from our strange language. Wisla, read Vissua, is the name of the town nearby. BTW the biggest river in Poland with the same name has it's estuary around.
Fick, I meant source... Idiot me... And talking global scale we can say that the source of Vistula is pretty much in Wisla , it's like 5km from there. 45mins by bike from the reservoir in Wisla Czarne
PURE...PORN... LOOK AT THOSE F*CKING COLORS! THAT SUSPENSION LOOKS PURE SWANK AND NS HAS MADE A PURELY SOLID BIKE! nice work guys you never cease to amaze with these articles
Everytime I am in that part of the world I get weirded out. Those forests are spooky as hell and have far too much dark history for me. Beautiful, but very heavy.
^^ I pictured you trying to throw cash at your computer screen, and then getting super pissed when it just falls to the floor, and no new sexy bike shows up.
Nah we're all in Spain only spending our money in british owned shops and hiding our ill gotten gains. I hate this immigrant dissing shit, its a fu**ing international world nowadays boys
^^^^ i'm gonna assume you're being ironic, otherwise you must just be a c***
@pichy dude if i was in Spain i'd be too busy ripping around on some of those sick dh tracks you seem to have in abundance to spend any time tripping over balconies :-)
Loving the look of this one top stuff. The ride looks sweet to. I can see my wallet hurting when it comes out in the shops as i need a new frame and i'm eyeing it up not good loving it NS keep up the good work boys
hey thats a nice ns bikes supreme dh v3 seriously that looks almost identical to a commencal save for the paint job and the different pivot location at the rear wheel
Man sooo sick of people calling all bikes with a horst a FSR... Horst link is not a big deal... This rear end is floating and is nothing like and FSR... For me, FSR need to have 2 pivots on the seat tube. Something you definitely don't have here... yes it looks like a Commencal V3 but with a horst link. Does it ride so much different than a V3 because of the Horst link, maybe but there is a hell of a lot more to a bike than a f*cking Horst link...
There are so many bike companies out there it is very hard to make a bike that is truly unique. Most of the small bike companies lack the R&D funds to build and test a bike of their own design. So they go to Taiwan pick parts out of the big Taiwan bike catalog.
@ScaryGary, you are right about FSR vs Horst link, but do you think most of the mouth breathing groms on this site know what Horst link is? That is why I just say FSR around these parts.
i will never understand why a company that dominates the street market is trying to limp into the DH race market - one that is saturated with companies/frames with decades more experience and several iterations of geometry/frames
yes...NS will compete in the DH market just like the microsoft zune did. snoopy - youre probably to young to know what im reffering to given your cool comment
But, we are still in the Carpathians, so...
Wisła means Vistula, because the Vistula River rises at Barania Góra Mtn - nearby the Wisła Town.
both very cool bike
In case anyone missed it the other day; heres a video of a case over that big jump.
