How to Watch the 2024 Mountain Bike World Cup [Update: Staylive Offering Access in New Zealand, South Africa & More]
The saddest part about this whole debacle is that the execs and the marketing dept. will continue to move things around, try to improve their numbers, and try to grow subscriptions. They won't understand why it's not working and, in a few years, they will come to the conclusion that the sport of mountain biking just isn't that popular after all. Once it starts costing them too many resources, they'll drop it.

Warner Brothers Discovery, ESPN & Fox Announce New Sports Streaming Service
It's not that I don't want to pay. It's that it's cable TV all over again. I'd gladly pay to be able to watch World Cup racing, but I can't just watch that. I need TWO subscriptions. So then I'm paying for more than I want. Multiply that by a bunch of other streaming services, plus internet, and I'm stuck paying hundreds per month again. It's dumb.

You can keep your carbon, hidden shocks, internal cable routing, batteries, servos, and goofy new standards. There's something about the gussets, welds, and linkages that just makes my heart flutter.

Gee Atherton Shares Injury Update - Red Bull Rampage 2023
@Marcencinitas: I'm a bit younger, but I relate to this so much. Many of my riding buddies have suffered back injuries and dislocated shoulders. I suffered an achilles injury (inflamed and mad, not torn) that kept me off the bike this year. It has all been a bit depressing to be honest. I started building a gravel/adventure bike to give me some tamer riding options.

Are Shimano & SRAM Developing Brakes For Headset Cable Routing?
Next up, a subscription service to unlock better performance! Seriously, though. I know we pushed back on progress when it came to hub spacing and wheel sizes, but eventually we all realized there were some real benefits to be gained. I don't see the point of this. It's purely aesthetic and I gain no meaningful performance. What I do gain is a giant headache when I need to maintain my bike!
