Jed Mildon World First Triple Backflip - The Story
This new video takes you behind the scenes of the whole project to give you an idea of the commitment it's taken Jed to accomplish the Triple Backflip. Jed might've made the final successful jump look easy, but what it has taken him to reach that point is far from it. NZ rider Jake Prebble joins Jed at the main event, and throws down some massive front flip tricks as well.

After watching the video of his triple flip the other day I was like OMG that is just sick, seeing the sport progress so much.
After watching the story and seeing how much effort and commitment has gone into this trick, I now believe that Jed Mildon is God. This is so sick! Its got to get VOD

You do realize BMX has ALWAYS lead the way in trick progression, and will almost certainly continue to do so? Don't hate on BMX just because you don't ride it. I ride MTB and have nothing but respect for ANYONE who pushes the limits of what's possible, whatever discipline they choose.

Yeah, even if they don't ride a mtb, they still ride a bike. Mountain bikers to me are like brothers, and bmxers are my cousins.

i ride mtb but i still respect all riders no matter who they are as they are still humans, and jed especially as he took a dream he had and a joke with his mates and made it reality, true commitment and big balls!!!

@seary I ride MTB, But the amount of respect I have for Jed Mildon after doing this trick is immense You cant hate BMX just because you don't ride it, that's just immature. BMX is always way ahead of MTB in progression terms, it doesn't mean you can hate the sport because your jealous!.

I am not a BMXer but i dont care, no matter what kind of bike you do it on, a triple backflip is AMAZING and crazy at the same time!!!!!

Actually I think it's the exact opposite, this video shows he is a real person just like everyone else. If he were "God" he wouldn't need to practice at all and it would only be a simple matter of setting up the jump and doing it on the first try. The truth is like anything else in life, even for pros, you have to work hard, envision the goal, and practice practice practice. If you don't kill yourself in the process you will get there.

Thats completely amazing how much the sport of biking has progressed. Next thing you know, someone's going to quadruple flip and this will be a thing of the past. It's just the way it is. Completely stoked about this!
