Jerad Fischer and I went to the Valmont Bike Park to do an interview and showcase his riding as an amputee. We hope to show other amputees or injured people that it's gonna be alright and that you can still get out there.
Filmed / Edited by Scott Klumb
I'd like too see a full length movie on diff abled riders. being a diff abled rider myself, watching these type of vids are a great tool of motivation, keep givn'r man..
Holy shit, this had me in tears. I broke my collar bone and can't get back on the bike for a month and then see someone like you who is actually partially missing a limb and just keep riding is truly inspiring.
This is an amazing video and great to show to any rider who's injured
how igsactly did you loose the leg? massive jump? or just really unlucky landing? sorry to ask but i recently got an open compound fracture on my leg and can somewhat relate to your problems you have and still are overcoming. keep up the good spirits man!
I was wondering the same. I almost just lost my leg around the same area to compartment syndrome. This is pretty inspiring, you're the man!!
Jerad had a horrible crash a few years ago while riding some big jumps in a friend's backyard. After nearly 2 years of rehab and little progress, he had the choice, fuse the ankle and never ride or amputate, get a prostesis and ride again. He made an impossible choice and is shredding more than ever. He digs everyday and is a huge reason for a few of the local spots in Colorado
you know hes good when hes better than most of us when he only has one leag this guy is mentaly and phyisicly a tak this make me wanna ride so much and give every amputee i see props iv broken bones over and over but this guy looses a leg and can still shred 10000000000000 time better than most of us total absolute props bro
wow infinite props to him. if i lost a part of my leg, i don't think i'd be mentally strong enough to start up anything again.
this guy has a true passion for the sport. most people wouldn't come back to biking if that happened, but he did. props man!
dudes amazing, man im feel blessed i broke my leg ended up with15 titanium pins and im pretty much fine, lifes amazing ..rock on man

thanks for inspiring me to ride harder. Good to see you still at it even after something that would make most people sit back on the couch and never ride again. Major props!

I wish people would consider that some of us are squeamish, a short warning before you cut to some dude's gangrenous leg wouldn't go amiss...
you are so storng that still keeps riding after you crashed whit the bike and still keeps biking!, wery good!!
