Hey Cariboo!
How you been mate?
It was awesome to get out and end off winter with a cool camp.
Night was extremely windy with and was a tad below freezing but the next day was sunshine all the way!
Thank you, Japan is great for lots of outdoor activities.
Most of the mountains are centered in the middle of big cities.
So, you are correct.
The Locals were hiking up to take a bath in the natural hot springs as we were camping.
This mountain has natural springs and a river of hot water.
There are about 10 little bath holes people have made to bathe in, it was nice as I was getting cold at night.
The land is kept up by the locals.
It is public land but its perfectly alright to camp and ride here.
The locals welcomed up with no harm.
The burn the hill side every year to keep fires down, which I guess might be a problem here?
hahahhah
So, yes the landscape is sort of manicured and kept open for hikers and tourist who want to use the natural hot springs!
Thank you for the cool comments brother!

That edit came out perfect! The flow of the images from riding to camping. Mo Mo,s vocal joy was well integrated into the sound track. I luv it!
Yes you did smokies! That was a very cool place to camp. Then a dip in hot springs at nite?
The Bro vibe is one of the main elements that give this film such warmth.

Thank you brother!
We had a great car camp, the site was really cool.
From our site the hot spring was about a 10min hike.
After dinner we hiked up to the spring at about 10pm, just when we were starting to feel the chill.
Then a 10minute dip in about 45degree water, WOW!
I was on fire, ahhahhahahhahahha
Hot smokies for dinner and lunch, we also BBQed some smoked bacon, yummy!
It worked out great, night was below zero at -2 or less with a nonstop flurry of wind all night.
Then we awoke to sunny warmth followed by a very nice 12-15 degree afternoon!
I hope for more camps this season.
Nest will be a full on hike and bike hammock camp!
If I can convince everyone to go, ahhah
RideOn bro!

I love it! I tend to be a very vocal rider as well, gets everyone around me hooting and cheering that much more.
Dude's stoked to ride, and that's just awesome! This stuff gets me way more stoked than the latest pro on their sleek ass unaffordable carbotanium hyper bike.

Yes, sir very well may be however, everyone came home in one piece!
I had some air trouble with my forks and the 1st night was about -2 with heavy non stop winds.
Thats why we had all the tarps up, to block the wind from blowing our tents aways.
However, this mountain has natural hot springs so, we were treated to a very hot bath around 10pm!
Good fun for sure Dave!
The riding was a little bla, but it was more about location and just hanging out.
Good way to end the winter blues with a positive note for spring ahead.
RideOn mate!
I know so little about Japan, my partner has been visiting a few years ago, but I never have. Interesting to see you camping, in such close proximity to what looks like a big city. But I guess that's in Canadian terms. Those hills/mountains look like so much fun to explore and free-ride.
Is it all public land in the video? Is it legal to camp there? The landscape looks somewhat manicured, is it farmed?
Sorry for my ignorance.
