I really enjoy when people hate on BMX because they're kids bikes. When it comes down to it, it still takes an insane amount of skill to do what they do. Show some respect to the riders that have dedicated themselves to being the best.

I figure if they can do backlip x-up turndowns they deserve some respect, if it takes longer to say what trick they are doing than it takes them to do it then cut them some slack. MTB wudnt be where it is today without BMX.

bmx is and always will be better at tricks face it,thats why mtn bike should be kept respected as big mountain and shit that only mtn bikes can ride. the bmx have tricks over like any other sport in the world,so lets leave it at that.mtn bike doesnt own tricks remember if u think its easier on a bmx cool,but he have advantages on mtn bike too. so just respect there riding.

ya bmx is sick but i just cant ride it,i have some back problems not big or nothing but i just find it hard to be hunched over all day if i go riding,also mtb is easyer,i think,to go long distances,all my bmx friends cant keep up with me going 5 mins across town
also i know most ppl hated the music but i liked that song,but not all metal like that is good

well even though there better,you comapre the difernce in how long the 2 sports have been around and bmx has been doing trciks for like 20+ years more,so bikign is doign prety damn good,gnarly fast progression.give mtn biking 20-30 more years,and thats just tricks,mtb does do alot more.

the reason why mtb is so good now is because most of the old bmxers converted for the money...examples?...ben boyko and aaron chase...

i respect BMXers and all, i even ride BMX a bit but the thing i hate about them is the way they disrespect us. all the mountain bikers i know have nothing against them, we all find their riding amazing but then they jump up and say shit like "f*ck off you stupid mountainbikers" or "mountain bikes are for mountains".
i dont see why they cant just see us as an equal. yesterday one guy said tailwhips would be easier on a Mountain bike cos theres more space to land. i mean, what the hell, your bikes are smaller and much easier to whip round. so yeah. BMX is good but half the guys who ride it are dickheads

Yeah, BUT, you are talking about a DJ/Slopestyle comp. All respect to these guys for the really amazing tricks but we wouldn't get 'skewld' for anything other than a DJ comp. Big mountain freeride and DH with style is way more interesting to watch for me. I'd love to ride like these guys but its a tad 'trick monkey'ish.
