 i know sam pilgrim and this was obviously one continuous loop! I can see from the video that all the locations are linked. Ive been in his van twice and i know he didnt drive to all these locations, one of the times was when we got chinese buffet at izumi, it was really tasty.

 Thanks for a great video. I am trying to get back into xc from years of downhill and am trying to create a loop with something more interesting in it. Your video has given me the inspiration and encouragement I need. Fantastic.

 @shacky Thankyou for giving me the attention i so crave, it feels good. Unfortunately it was when sam had a shaved head so was unable to retrieve a sample. Also ive never been to band camp but have heard its very nice if you are musically inclined, which i am not although sometimes i wish i was you know.

 I to love to go on cross country rides in jeans and keep my seat slammed so that I may stand up and sprint the entire time because I am awesome!! and then also throw in some barspins and back flips!!

 no hate to sam, but last i checked XC was uphill not just boring dh with desperate backflips. seemed like more of a primitive freeride edit

 It seems that everyone has their own understanding of what cross country consists of, but I would like to point out that the title of this post was "Sam Pilgrim- My cross country loop" and it would therefor lead me to believe that this is Sam's understanding and interpretation and that even though Sam's interpretation of cross country may not be the same as someone else's doesn't necessarily mean that it is wrong.

 Sam your a sick rider better than i will ever be, but i know the area pretty well and im sure thats not one loop mate! Your on a freeride bike and u didnt sit down once you must have legs of steel !!! I can just about make it from the car park to the top of the runs at danbury let alone work your way over to mersea!  It is most definitely not true cross country riding but cool to see that he does ride a mountain bike from time to time. Backflips, barspins, 180s, LOL. Looked fun, not trying to hate here. But you will have an easier time pedaling with your seat higher.

 Wkd vid really liked that. I used to ride XC then I got into freeride and DH didn't do to bad at it NO PRO.....Now I've gone back to where I started XC but not it's more fun now . Useing my surrounding more to have more fun just no backflip lol.

 Bro, thats the most ludicrous statement I have ever heard. If people ride around a puddle it will either get absorbed into the ground or simply evaporate over time. And as for people who dont like getting wet and dirty should mountain bike at all WTF!

I love mountain biking, have been riding for over 20 years and absolutely hate getting wet.

Bike in the dry, super enjoy, come home put bike away shower and chill. +1

Bike in the wet and mud, destroy gears, wash away lube, get soaking wet and filthy, maybe catch a cold, come home both you and the bike filthy (the back way) have the wife screaming at you, make a total mess, wash an strip and re-lube bike before doing any thing else. finally after a half hour shower sit down f*cked -10000
