Jul 1, 2024Chromag Surface M/L
$650 USDBuilt and painted by Chris Dekerf. It has a beautiful sparkling maroon/purple color to it. Frame is well covered in frame protection tape.
This is the last version of the Surface, and geometry is available on the Chromag website (66deg HA, 75deg SA, Boost)
This frame has been used for 2 years and is in very good condition, no rust.
Some scuffing of the paint on the head tube and underside of the top tube from cable rub.
Before painting, the cable stop for the front derailleur was removed, as well as the cable guides on the underside of the down tube for the dropper post for a cleaner look. Not sure why the previous owner did that.
The frame is still stealth dropper compatible, you can run the cable on the down tube with a stick-on cable guide (which are on there).
Price includes a Chris King headset, Chromag seat collar and a spare derailleur hanger.
The top tube was just a bit too long for me. Maybe I'm not as slack as I think I am. Probably best for 6' and up.

First Ride: Magura Relaunch the Gustav Pro Brakes
@Struggleteam: Same here. Once bled I haven't had any need to change the fluid. They're solid once they're set up. I think most just want set and forget. For them....there's Shimano. Let's not talk about the bite point.
