 It's Sunday evening in Europe. Missus wanted us to watch Netflix after the kids went to bed. Sorry, not this time babe!

 They’re really not that great, the black dude seems high and talks in circles and the beard dye guy constantly loses his train of thought during the race runs

 Do you think removing the battery from an ebike when you're used to that weight would throw you off?
  • 11 0
 Maybe. Man, that was a nasty crash.
  • 7 0
 i hope he is ok it was a quite hard crash
  • 14 0
 safe to assume no... as a full time professional rider, you can surely bet he has logged plenty of training time with that setup prior to the event. He didn't just show up in Chile and wing it. That drop almost sent a bunch of guys out the front door or over the bars after either having the back wheel hang up or losing spees and dropping the front wheel too low... definitely a gnarly crash so let's hope he is okay

 @davetrumpore:

fun fact: he did in fact not have more than a couple of runs training time before flying to Chile. He made a video series about how he "un-ebiked" his ebike and was complaining that he had to wait for some parts until the day before flying.

But even then, I also don't think that the crash was a result of the training time but mere bad luck.

 @davetrumpore: absolutely. You can see he slides the rear wheel right before the drop and loses a bunch of speed. If anything removing the battery (and parts of the engine iirc) would make lifting the front wheel easier.

 Borba had a pretty great season last year, looked fast and always on the heels of the fastest in many sections. I bet he will win at least 1 more

 I am glad Johannes is okay after that crash. It looked bad.

 Why Pedro Burns was racing with a TLD shirt and not the TREK jersey??
  • 1 0
 Creo que ya no sigue en el TFR-E, se me hace que va a quedar medio de embajador de Trek en Sudamérica o aún no revela su nuevo sponsor de cleta.
