Last year I had the opportunity to work with two of the best in the business on one of my favourite DH tracks ever. Rupert Walker, Clay Porter and I cooked this up for your viewing pleasure.—Finn Iles
Cinematography: Rupert Walker, Clay Porter Edit: Rupert Walker Sound: Keith White Photography: Cameron Mackenzie
that blind jump with the rocks and super tight landing is a top 5 feature anywhere all time in mountain biking. goated. deserves its own edit, montage of every clip ever
That 3 set of turns: right left right looks SO FUN!!!! One of my favorite trails has a turn set like that, but way smaller so it feels good at my mediocre speed. Finn's speed needs everything stretched out. He makes riding look fun.
Thank you! I thought I was the only one not frothing about all edits filmed in the same place, over and over again...
I mean, lots of sick riding, but come on. It's become about as unexciting as the upper part of Fort William, after all these years.
If I want to actually see a real view of how fast Finn was that was not it. The cinematography show cased the cinematography, but it did not showcase Finn's riding.
Maybe we can gather Finn and his rivals at some of the most challenging tracks in Europe and North America this summer. We can time how long it takes each one to go down the track and sell the TV rights so people can watch it live. Then we’ll finally see how fast he is. Until then, who knows?
Maybe gather some data on his riding by putting Finnstrumentation on his bike.
Cathro says the sport’s 90% mental, maybe he just needs to meditate until he finds Finner peace.
2024 is the battle of Finn and Pierron.
what's the word on Goldstone's knee injury??
Wish him the best for me will you.
