You guy need to learn some MTB history...this is pretty close to where it all began, and the kit/bike just make it even better! In my opinion a POD doesn't need to be mind blowing. Just appreciate what it represents and how far we've come...
and how exactly this photo represents history of MTB? is there at least SOMETHING what makes this photo a good one? i do appreciate history of mountain biking - but sorry, no history on this one. just some ordinary shot, tons of which can be found on this site.
You guys a kidding right? Just because its not some freerider doing a triple whip 360 doesn't mean this photo isn't f*cking sick, because it is, this is what the WC used to be. If you're really that upset about it, get off the internet and change your tampon.
without these legends and the Kamikaze race, mtb would not be where it is today. ie. we all are whores for mtn bikes and sick trails - we must recognize its roots and respect its history.
I'm gonna go there and say there have been a lot of not that great pod's lately. A lot of changed pod's before morning as well. Someone isn't putting the time and effort into picking shots properly and that should change.
..jesisj, the pinkbike youth goes at it again, what a b#chin! I like this picture, it gives me the "goosebumbs"..hauling speed on loose rock rules, trickyyy! ..maybe most of you dont have that experience to appreciate this picture. ..well, got this of me chest..now you can get ya bitchin on again.
All the groms in here don't recognize the similarity between this and the photo of JT in his black race suit from the '90s. Not a great photo but the Kamikaze is where it all started. knowing this makes me old.
This is the greatest POD I have ever witnessed! I'm going to print it out and then have it blown up to 12 ft X 12ft and hang it in my living room. Thanks Pinkbike.
