That's weak they cut the landing from the vid..! You really can't make a claim like that and not show the trick from start to finish... If you save the photo, then open it and zoom in on it you can see that he's jumping off his bike in the second to last shot (which is before he was down the landing ramp) and off his bike in the last shot. The sequence looks like he did land it, but jumped off his bike immediately after landing it. Sure, he's gotta be stoked that he's on his bike and still moving after that, but you'd think you'd ride it out a little longer. Could be the type of scenario where he knew he starting to lose balance and jumped off before falling. None the less huge props for going for it..!
FAKE! www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6hUj259cM0 1:48 If you pause it at the right time you can see he is sprocket casing it super hard. And if you compare it to the photo right before he lands it, the sequence just doesnt line up how it is in the video.
www.pinkbike.com/news/bienve2flip.html here is the new information , the full video with the atteps , LANDING , and celebration hope u like it , i thinkj bienve is one of the most progressive riders on the worls
not big enough, me and reck are going to make an insane step up at Goat Path this year with the bulldozer. i will practice in foam till then and hopefully have a go
history has been made, no-one will ever be able to take it away fromhim i wonder what it must feel like knowing you will always be the first person to do something in life?
Sure he does a double front flip but the question is does he land it? The video sure as hell doesn't show him land it and the picture looks like it has had a major photoshop job. I'm going to say this is fake until we see a real video of him actually riding out from one.
It was done on the Megaramp in Tahachape about a year ago. On an MTB, also, the first triple whip on an MTB was done. Same day too if I'm not mistaken.
Doesn't mean this isn't sick as hell either, because it is!
I'd have to dig I think. I know it's in the same video as the tripple whip. It may have just been a photo sequence I was looking at. It was almost a year ago.
Well... If you look at like the 5th frame of the dirtbike you will see his head is magically turned towards the guy on the mtb. Pretty sure he saw most of it.
