Formula Announces New Cura 4 Brakes
Would love to try these and compare them to my saints. Of bleeding of these is easier I may consider them for my next build. Price is not a huge factor on these and only sit a margin over current offerings from other brands. If they hold up I could see these as a great alternative to the standard rsc’s currently being used on many a steed.

Cycling Brands Under Scrutiny in Gun Control Debate
If we all boycot brands which create devises that could kill then I think most corporations would go under. Do you like Kraft Dinner or any other Kraft products? Well too bad they are owned by Philip Morris. Do you like Matel toys? Well too bad they made plastic parts for the M16. How about your Smith or Oakley sunglasses ? Well they have huuuge military contracts. Want to fly to Hawaii well the guys that made your plane also make military vehicles. I am not saying I am for or against the NRA but if we start penalizing every brand because of their parent company then we will be left with nothing but our self gratified smirk all alone with no toys convenience foods or modes of travel. Business is dirty, sometimes your beloved company is bought by a conglomerate that sells everything under the sun. That doesn’t mean that the products are supporting mass shootings. It just means they can sign bigger checks. Cool off SJWs

Team CRC Mavic Leave Downhill Racing to Focus on Enduro
Sings “the day that downhill died”. I wonder when all the teams out there “suggest” to switch to enduro from dh because it sells. This is in by no means against the legend Hill and I’m glad he has a new lease on bike life. But I foresee dh bikes no longer existing in 5 years.

Hmm trunnion mount rear shock. Says it plays well with coil but I’m not sure how well it would play with a non trunnion mounted rear shock. Think float x2 standard mount. I don’t know if I’d go coil but I would be going fox for both front and rear. I’ll need to put my hands on one to check spacing first.

Pinkbike Poll: What If....?
I don't think I would ride a bik without external adjustments and having to ride stock components. As it sits the company I have access to deals with only really use one company and I'm not a fan of that company so I would frame up build it.

Ask Pinkbike: Fork Travel, Mini-DH Bikes, and Junior Racing
@nvranka: I just so happen to get both outa my dh. I picked up an Aurum c7.1 for this year and switched brakes to saints. I am all about components and with a higher end bike you get the better comp. which in turn makes for a lighter bike. My "trailbike" build that I'll do next will be gravity driven with the option of up hill. Think spartan but sub out all the comp to shimano and fox. (Will also be really light).

Or the other way lol. If you prefer dh/shuttle more and want to pedal sometimes. I know I would prefer a more expensive dh bike (ergo lighter) and a slightly but only very slightly less expensive trail bike. I like my finer things in life lol.
