Jesse dropped 12 psi of fork pressure compared to the last bikecheck thats quite a significant difference.

@aljoburr: by cutting the shaft you will keep the pressure equalisation port/dot in correct place. There more spacer you use the more you will mess up the positive/negative air chamber pressures.

If you really really want it you can cut the shaft of the air unit to your desired length and tap a new thread in it. Keep in mind that the axle to crown length is quite high on the 38.... you might want to opt for 135 or even 130 mm to compensate for that.
