KMC Announces Their First Cassette
Oh god, the whining on pinkbike. Where I live KMC chains are consistently cheaper than their Shimano counterparts in actual retail (~20-25%), include a re-usable quick link and don't care about orientation iirc. If the same pricing policy and customer-friendliness applies for their cassettes as well, count me in.

Review Addendum: Bluegrass Legit Carbon Helmet - I Tested It More by Crashing
The fact that the EPS is only cracked and not squashed (like I've seen from other crashes) and the fact the trauma was so severe I wonder if the helmet absorbed a lot of the crash's energy. Not that another helmet would've been better, but people tend to overestimate the degree of protection that these equipments actually offer.

Review: 2023 Santa Cruz Nomad - Yes, It's Very Good
Features (or gimmicks) like in-frame storage are what companies use to justify premiums. If you reviewers keep listing them under (+) the other manufacturers will adapt (it's already happening) and their prices will increase, too. For a feature that many of us can do without if it means 500 money units less spent. Bikes are too expensive as is.

Review: 2023 Santa Cruz Nomad - Yes, It's Very Good
I agree. I even wonder if the average rider would truly have more fun on this newest Nomad or on the iconic 2014 version with 65 degree head angle, shorter reach and wheelbase, 650b wheels, 13kg weight...

A Bizzare Crash Leaves Tristan Lemire Recovering from a Broken Arm
Which shows the surgeon knew what he or she was doing. If the plate is too short there is a chance there's too much movement ilat the "fracture gap" which can lead to nonunion. I only recovered in november of last year from a more than 1-year old fracture because the plate used in the original surgery was too short.
