First Ride: Focus Vam² SL - Electric Downcountry?
I agree that you always want a little more travel on an e-bike, so this bike would be perfect for people who ride on dirt roads and need a little suspension for breaking bumps and potholes.

"Sad it Had to Come to an End" - Greg Minnaar Features on Santa Cruz's 'The Roller Door' Podcast
@Muckal: It comes from the market and markets are brutal, but Greg could race for a competitor or chose a new market to conquer like teacher, motivational speaker, or coach.

"Sad it Had to Come to an End" - Greg Minnaar Features on Santa Cruz's 'The Roller Door' Podcast
@tgent: No one has the right to get paid $5000 a week to race a bike. Of course it’s a money thing.

Opinion: Do We Need Size-Specific Chainstays?
Fractions of a percent in the right or wrong direction matter-- We can all notice 2mm of seat height, 2mm of bar height, 1 degree of handlebar bend, 10mm handlebar width differences. Of course we can also notice a few mm of chainstay length.

First Ride: Raaw Madonna V3 - Better Than Ever
Amen! The 677 stack / 145mm HT on their XL and XXL sizes is about as tall as you can make it with standard fork steerer tube lengths. Even their size L would support an uncut steerer tube with a reasonable amount of spacers.

Video: The Best & Worst Traits of the 2023 Enduro Field Test Bikes
@RadBartTaylor: I'm 195cm and had tons of fun on bikes with bar height way below saddle height, until I rented a bike with a tall stack and riser bars--- My neck and hands stopped getting sore, I was leading the way down features I used to hesitate on, and had way more fun. Came home from that trip and sold my XC bike, replaced my enduro bike, and bought riser bars for my eBike. Good thing I was already divorced.

Review: DT Swiss FR 1500 Wheelset
@gmcgurk: I'm 220lbs and have been thrashing my We Are One Convergences all year with no issues-- Haven't even had to true them. I think they ride just as comfortably as aluminum while also having a more lively feel on climbs.

@Explodo: Of course you can use body english and suspension tuning but if your bars are too low, you can't get your weight far enough back on a steep.
