Video: At Home & Away With Danny Hart

by Saracen Bikes

What does Danny Hart do to calm his nerves before a race run? And how does he find the perfect tyre pressure?

We follow the Redcar Rocket from his hometown, to the world cup and discover his fresh approach to racing.

“There’s not many people that get to experience this kind of stuff in their lives, so to come and do it and try and just have a good time with it and have fun with it and hopefully that will bring good results.”

Really shows the constant nagging pressure that follows these riders 24/7. You aren't just nervous on race day, the nerves are part of everyday life and that's gotta be hard to master.

Was just thinking the same. Really felt for him when he got back down the hill and thinking over mistakes made.

Great video footage. Great to see Danny so down to earth. Just goes to show how much it hurts these top guys when they are just even a little off the pace. Clearly gutted. Pace is there though and looked pinned in Innsbruck. Come on Danny. Do it for the fantasy team

Yeah right on. Nice house and nice truck, even if the steering wheel is on the wrong side, Myanmar style! Go for it Danny!

Great video, good insight! Happy it was a decent length video these tend to be like 2 mins. Fiancé can rip for not riding long. Danny making some nice money for a downhiller

Apparently, it’s not just us North Americans that fancy a nice gas guzzlin’ shuttle truck.

Good stuff. Real work trying to understand the mumbling- especially over the loud music.

No it isn’t. English people are reserved and understated, unlike Americans.

@duir: I beg your pardon? That's some quality generalization there buddy. Danny is hart to understand but many Brits are not.

The speaking sections were occasionally difficult to hear due to clipping because they didn't put a lav mic on Danny and adjust the levels maybe. Next videos would be cool to have that level of production seeing as you're already spending the time and money on the video equipment and the travel. Thanks for the vid regardless.

The written section above was occasionally difficult to understand due to the lack of punctuation because your grammar is bad and adjust your schooling maybe. Next comment would be cool to have that level of production seeing as you're already spending time in an English-speaking country. Thanks for your opi regardless.
