Video: The High Speed Corner Challenge - Pinkbike Academy Season 2 EP 3
I watched a documentary about Stacy Peralta. When Powell Peralta started the Bones Brigade, they wasn’t looking for the best riders at the time, or the ones who where winning. They specifically looked for the kids that where the saddest or angriest for not winning. They wanted it the most. It was a smart choice, and the Bones Brigade fostered riders like Rodney Mullen and Tony f***in Hawk. This brings us to Cody. He wants it. I see nothing wrong with being sad or angry for not doing as good as you want to. As long as you are nice to people around you, I see absolutely no problem with pro riders having a temperament. Times change, and we have put out our best side for others to see. This is something that have been mentioned here repeatedly. Like “she took it so well” or “bringing the positivity”. Not everyone is like that, and that’s fine. And it sure makes better reality tv. Oh, and this is something you guys would have known if you had a Bmx background

Bike Check & Interview: UK National DH Series Winner Stacey Fisher & her Transition TR11
Great interview! I just have a question. Why are suspension settings kept secret? Like in general? I mean, it is not like highly tuned settings will fit other riders? Even if two people weight the same, it’s not like they are going to ride the same?

I guess I’m going for a riding trip to Sweden then. Quick question, is Bolle-Kollen a way to get Danish riders to come over?

Video: Building a Dream Riding Destination in Norway
@iRiderPB: well, kinda. Since there are so few trails that are built sustainably. The best trails get ridden in all weather conditions, and gets rutted quickly. The numbers of riders grow exponentially. All I am saying is that you need volume trails to be ridden in bad weather and jumping is fun, I want to jump on my trail rides as well.

Video: Building a Dream Riding Destination in Norway
The thing is, we have very few flow trails in Norway. There is in total counting all the trails in the larger Oslo area, maybe 10 jumps in that are good. In total. On the other hand, the number of great natural trails, just in the larger Oslo area is countless. Flow trails are welcome here, and I bet there are 100s of natural trails that are awesome in Høgevarde

Video: 12-Year-Old Rides Fest Sessions Malmedy Jumps Alongside Nico Vink, Andreu Lacondeguy & More
dude, I couldn’t agree more! fest series did an incredibly bad job on explaining it. But I totally get what they mean now. First of all, as a fan, I would much rather watch a carefully curated 7minutes video with high production value than loads of 20 minute vlogs with only fillers and thinly veiled commercials. But I think that from a riders perspective, hitting stuff that is so far beyond what I even can imagine, you would want to be in full control of when and how you would do it. Secondly, after some time now, and a couple of events form both fest and Reynolds. You see a stark contrast in the formats. Not saying that it isn’t room for both. I’m just saying it becomes more and more obvious what the fest series guys meant. I mean like, one is a hyper commercialised event and the other is people riding bikes on ginormous jnumps.
