Destination Showcase: Siskiyou, California
FYI: The Kidder Creek Camp (run by Mount Hermon) is a Jebus indoctrination camp- not a criticism, but thought that should have been noted.

I literally just came back from a brick and mortar store 5 minutes ago to try on some new bikes shoes. There was a Shimano, Giro, and Scott model that I was considering buying. The shop carried those brands but didn't have any of the 3 models that I was after and what they had was 2018 stuff at full MSRP in pygmy and giant sizes. Now I'm back online and can find the model, size, and color I want at the best price. Stupid me for trying to patronize the little guy, right?

Randoms: Hope's Updated Crankset, Mavic's New Carbon Wheels, Formula's Coil-Sprung Selva - Bike Connection Winter 2019
@Buggyr333: "It works fine". Sure, but it adds parts and steps to the install process that Shimano has avoided. The only equal to Shimano I've found for value, reliability, and easy of use is Praxis. If Shimano did a simple update to offer a spiderless system it would be perfect. $25 for XTR bottom brackets are the icing on the cake.

Review: Enve’s M735E Wheelset Fails Our Test
@goroncy: add the cost of a wheel build (+/- $70) and spokes, nipples, rim tape, sealant (not to mention inconvenience) and an $80 rim will cost you $200 to replace unless you're lacing them yourself. Don't nobobdy got time fo' dat!

Review: Enve’s M735E Wheelset Fails Our Test
@PocoBoho: noticed a dent in my rim last weekend, took the tire off, bent it back into place with an adjustable crescent wrench, and mounted the tire back on with no issue. Expensive rims, though. Had to fork out $90 per!
