Gwin is fast, no doubt. This vid was fun to watch. Stevie, Rat Boy, etc. are fun to watch. Claiming some kind of connection with them because of nationality is lame.

You hit the nail on the head with that comment. Also the people that are better can have bad days (or seasons). (Not just Gwin, but Hill, Peat and almost all other top level athletes (in any sport) can claim to have had a bad year or 2. So the people that are better can change week to week!!!

2/3 years ago every time I saw footage of Aaron at a WC I was stunned at how shockingly fast and smooth his riding was. Val Di Sole '11 was unbelievable. Unbelievable. I know that now we are conditioned to expect his riding to appear slower but it really does lack snap. Still quick but not scary.

It might be relevant but I've seen it numerous times... Haven't you? PB only makes videos uploaded to PB VOD, but this is a Redbull vid. They normally won't make a video VOD once it has appeared on MFYM or the homepage- this video has appeared on both. There's something dodgy going on- I wonder how much PB were paid to make this VOD? PB is force feeding us content for their own commercial gains rather than showing us fresh vids to get us amped to ride. It's plain wrong.
