Pinkbike Poll: Riser Bar or Extra Spacers Under the Stem?
@mkul7r4: that is an interesting desire. A set of DH cranks will have a quite-wide Q-factor, and you could probably run fat bike cranks or just different pedals if you wanted a wider Q-factor as well.

Video: Riding in an Abandoned Mine in Slovenia with Ludo May & Steve Ude
The term we give these in the western US is a "tourist mine". Not in operation but safeguards in place to allow tourism of historic features etc. An "abandoned" mine has no ownership/responsible entity, is not bonded for reclamation with a regulator and typically is extremely unsafe to recreate in.

Neko Mulally's Frameworks DH Bikes Now Available for Preorder
Just commenting to say that some friends and I saw Asa Vermette at the bottom of the Whole Enchilada a few weeks ago (seemed like a very nice dude), and the Frameworks trail bike he was on looked incredible-way better looking than my old raw aluminum Banshee would look after a long dusty trail ride. Angular in a cool way. Not sure what they finished it with but the welds looked pretty and the alloy looked like a slightly etched darker toned aluminum.

Pinkbike Poll: How Often Do You Ride Instead of Drive?
I think mountain bike trail systems that are bikeable from residential areas should be a priority of most or every trail advocacy group. This democratizes access to the outdoors and brings it to youth that can't drive, and is just a better use of time. I've mostly been able to ride to trails in places I've lived, and far prefer spending 20 minutes riding on pavement to a trail to spending that time loading a bike into a car, driving, unloading it, riding, all to repeat that process at the end.

Tech Tuesday: How & Why to Upgrade Your Pads and Rotors
@mountainsofsussex: you can also use a brake rotor bolt to replace a lost clipless cleat bolt in a pinch. I found that out on a very remote ride this year.

Tech Tuesday: How to Set Up Your Mountain Bike's Cockpit
@gnarlysipes: opposite, what I'm referring to as "French style" (due to me learning about it from a Downtime podcast with Fabien Barel and videos with Yoann Barelli) is closer to parallel with the ground. My intuition is that it puts your forearms into more of a pushup position than a bench press position.

Tech Tuesday: How to Set Up Your Mountain Bike's Cockpit
I've run the "French-style" (low angle, maybe 15-25° below horizontal) brake position by a few physical therapist friends with kinesiology degrees, and they all seem to think it makes sense that it would put you in a stronger, more ergonomic position when riding downhill. I've been riding that way for almost three seasons now and can't go back, highly recommend giving it at least a two-week try if you haven't before.

Pinkbike Poll: Which Tools Do You Own?
You can gradually wedge razor blades under a crown race to remove it. My buddy tkolbo has a video on YouTube. I got it done with just the handful I had stored in my exacto knife.

Poll: Who is the Greatest Downhill Racer of All Time?
Someone on a podcast, I think Eliot Jackson on Downtime, said it this way: everyone in basketball wonders what Jordan vs. Kobe would be like, or Tyson vs. Ali, but in DH we actually get to see that because Minnaar has raced Nico, Gwin, Bruni, etc. and he's beaten them all at once point or another. GOAT for Elite Men.
