Pinkbike Poll: How Reliable Are Modern Mountain Bikes?
The poll asking "who's fault is it that your bike broke: the manufacturer for designing it poorly or the user/mechanic for setting it up wrong" is kind of what's wrong with this whole debate. Sometime stuff is going to break before you think it ought to, even if it is designed well, manufactured well, installed correctly, and serviced frequently. That's the reality of fatigue and the unpredictable nature of speeding down technical mountain trails.

Field Test: 5 Enduro Bikes (and 1 eMTB) Face the Efficiency Test
I know "it's just Bro Science" so take it all with a big grain of salt.... but I wish you'd at least test one of the bikes twice just to get a sense for how consistent the test method is, especially when all five bikes are within like +/- 6% of each other.

Bright Racing Shocks' 1630g Inverted Fork Claims 'Better Precision Than a Traditional Fork' - Pond Beaver 2021
Also worth noting that in the photos of the Bright assembled to a bike it is using a front cable guide from a current Lefty Ocho...a detail they leave out in every other photo of the disassembled fork. Kinda makes you wonder what other details they missed?
