Eurobike 2017

Eurobike 2017

100% had their 2018 collection on display at Eurobike, with a veritable rainbow of color choices for gloves, helmets, goggles, and apparel. Many of the models have carried over from last year, although the R-Core downhill clothing line has been expanded to include what's called R-Core X. The R-Core X clothing (modeled by the mannequin in the front) is still aimed at DH and enduro racers, but it's constructed from a 4-way stretch ripstop polyester, and has a slightly slimmer fit than the standard R-Core clothing.

Eurobike 2017
Gloves galore.

Eurobike 2017
There's no shortage of goggles either.

Eurobike 2017
Fresh colors for the Aircraft and Status helmets.

Why is it that mountain bikers want to look like we just left India's color festival? Don't get it.
  • 42 3
Just trying to keep it 100

because we played out all black kit in 2005

So people on the other side of the valley can see how rad I am, or how loud I look.
  • 4 2
I agree. Less of this 'racer look' and more stuff thats actually 'fashionable'

@eswebster Blending in has never been our strength, but creativity and design have always been our core. Looking at many riders coming down the Whistler Bike Park during Crankworx last month make us think people like it Smile

@ride100percent: I like it. Color is better, variety is better. Keep it 100%!

Hunting. That's why I wear bright colors and have loud hubs. Less likely to get shot at

 @glenward: Good point

Why do guys think they "core", unique or "anti establishment" wearing all black, flannels and party boy shirts?
  • 5 0
@nolson2: is that what they think? Maybe they just like that shit...
  • 1 0
@NotAnotherClimb: I agree 100% - pun intended. @ride100percent well done on an improved colour range, being able to freely mix and match jerseys/shorts will be much easier now. Just need to sort out the length and move up the lower pocket on the Airmatic shorts.
  • 1 0
@NickB01: Thanks for the feedback. The pocket has been something we have been looking into for a while now. Stay tuned

It's not the colors that bother me, it's the smiling crotch.

@ride100percent: Great looking kits! One question, do your dh pants have zippered pockets and where? Thanks

I want it 100% black. I do like -and feel free to picture me wearing- the 'base layer' droors.
  • 3 1
The idea behind a 'race kit' IS for it to stand out in photos etc, you think of wc races this year and how easy it was to recognise both Loic and Finn.
Usually most brands will do two lines, one super loud for their racers (and obviously the people who want to look like them) and then a more muted line for your more average dude who isn't bothered or has no need to grabbing attention in photos videos etc

Look at the supercross and Anaheim 1 for example and people like Troy Lee doing the wildest loudest kit so their riders are the ones you notice before anyone else.

I love their helmets and goggles (I have the Aircraft and Racecraft), but their clothing doesn't at all appeal to me.

What I was really hoping for was an open face helmet from them.
  • 3 0
Can't wait for the open face either!
  • 2 0
Thanks for the love and feedback @mungbean, could you please tell us more about the clothing? We would love to hear your thoughts. For the open face helmet, well... stay tuned! Smile
  • 2 1
@ride100percent: If you look at the first image, and more specifically the matching kit in the middle, and have to ask what people on here don't find appealing about it... what's the saying, if you have to ask, you'll never understand. The stuff on either side isn't appealing either, but that middle kit? Really?
  • 6 1
That middle one looks like a zebra that something has urinated on. Was the design brief "zebra patterned onesie"? Sometimes, less is more. Simple sells.
  • 3 1
@ride100percent: I want black on black on black with subtle logos. maybe one strong color with the black, but black.
  • 2 0
@sam2222: Hey Sam! Check out our website. www.ride100percent.com. We do have an all black kit that you might take a liking to.
  • 2 0
@ride100percent: Looking at the helmets, the paint jobs look great. But the clothing... Maybe get the guys who did the graphics on the helmet should have some input on the jersey's for a bit more understated consistency...
  • 2 0
@trillot: Glad you like the helmets! We have some more jerseys and shorts that are a bit more toned down that could be of interest to you.
  • 4 0
@ride100percent: I don't mind bright colours, I'm just not a fan of large and or multiple logos and in your face graphics. For example, the automatic jerseys has alarge 100% logo on the right pec, an airmatic logo on the left with some stove element thingy below it, a 100% logo on the sleeve, and one on the back. It's too much for my tastes.

I find it too "MX'ey" ( if that's a thing). I know that's your roots, but it's the same aesthetic that keeps me away from TLD and Fox Head too.

In fact, I like the style of your casual clothing more.

Anyway thanks for responding and wanting to hear feedback. That's rad.
  • 1 0
@ride100percent: sorry I meant airmatic not automatic. Damn autocorrect.
  • 3 0
@mungbean: Thanks for the feedback. Obviously, like you stated, our roots are in moto, so maybe that is where your dislike comes from. In the future, we will try to appeal to more of the masses and hopefully sway you in the future Wink
  • 4 0
@ride100percent: I'd like to apologize. It seems my criticisms were for last years stuff and the DH gear on the above photo. I just checked the new AM gear. You're on the right track.

Again sorry. Cheers.

This all looks greatā€“definitely picking up a few kits for the 2018 Electric Daisy Carnival.
  • 1 0
My hypothesis is, riders in flashy colors are popping out better from the background in GoPro footage... I guess that's why professional riders go with the fancy kit in their videos, and us regular Joes want to mimic them? (Counterpoint: Semenuk sporting the all black/jeans look in his last 100 raw vid.)

I love my racecraft goggles..and dual vented lens are top notch for winter riding.. Also love the feel of single palm gloves..way better than fox or tld..only weak point is that top of fingers tend to wear and unseam quickly.. Last thing..the suit you made for Lacblanc Commencal..simply awesome.. Keep up the good work
  • 1 0
Thanks for the love! We will work on it. Glad you are part of the family!
  • 1 0
@ride100percent : I need to see pictures of the palm of the gloves on your website! I cannot buy gloves online without seeing what they are like. It is the most important feature in a glove, the top is secondary..

Btw. Really like my Status helmet, best value for money and looks great!
  • 2 0
Noted! We will work on that! Thanks for the kind words! Glad you are a part of the family
  • 1 0
@ride100percent: Also, on the page it doesn't really say what is the difference in glove's tops. For example, Ridefits's top is noticeably thinner and more pleasant (at least to me) than iTrackses one in reality.
  • 2 1
Hopefully they worked on the fit and finish of their jerseys. I tried the Airmatic and had to send it back; not only did it feel cheap (even though it's pricey) but the fit was weird (very short, sleeves too long).
  • 2 0
Hey @matadorCE, we are sorry to hear that, and thank you for your feedback. Has anyone helped you out and did you send us an email with your feedback? If not please be as precise as possible and send us an email to feedback@ride100percent.com so we can make improvements on the new line.
  • 1 0
@ride100percent: Cool, I'll do that. Thanks!
  • 1 0
I have found the opposite to be true. I quite like my 100% gear, and certainly one of the few brands that don't come with a choking neck line *cough*Fox*cough*. The Airmatic shorts could do for another inch in the leg length though. I feel rightly embarrassed when they ride up above my knee pads and expose some thigh!
  • 1 0
@handynzl: Glad you are happy with your product and thanks for the note! We will certainly take it into consideration for next year!

Never seen a company reply to so many comments on here before. Fair play @ride100percent

wonder how the clothing feels. MTB gear has been pretty disappointing. I don't understand why they insist on using shitty materials, such better stuff out there.
  • 1 0
Hey @mustbike, sorry to hear your disappointment. Would you mind taking a few minutes to send us some feedback at feedback@ride100percent.com so we can understand what you like, don't like and improve from there? Thanks
  • 2 0
@ride100percent: never used your gear personally, but most mtb jerseys and such I've had my hands on have been very meh. I work in the outdoor clothing industry and see and use higher end fabrics everyday. I'm guessing the main issue is the price of fabric for y'all. CCN (south korea) showed me some interesting samples, so if youre looking for smaller run stuff I'd check them out for next year. I know printing is a major part of mtb clothing and most of the fabrics we see have to hold color exceptionally well, but maybe explore other options. Maybe a line of more subtle prints and basic colors, focusing on a higher end materials? The cuts are all great though. I just keep grabbing my cut off dickies and cotton t's over my new TLD stuff and thats kinda disappointing. I'd lump fox head in with the same quality as well. Just a thought, I know clothing likely represents a small chunk of your revenue. I think you guys could blow peoples mind's with a higher end line.
  • 3 0
@mustbike: Copy that! Thanks for sharing. We are always looking to improve. We have some jersey and shorts that are much more toned down than the ones shown. If you care to look, check out www.ride100percent.com

Best advice I ever got from 100% was to take the lens out and throw my goggles in the washing machine. I finally did last night and they came out looking brand new.

At Eurobike these clown pyjamas don't look so out of place.
