Pinion Gearbox to Enter US and Canada
If 1x hadn't happened, I'd probably be more interested in gearboxes.

The Dirt on Trestle: The Center of the USA's MTB Capital - Video
I live in Colorado, and I don't know that I would claim "Mountain Bike Capital of the USA." Maybe... "Of all the states with great mountain biking, we're the one closest to the geographical center of the lower 48 (sorry Kansas)." That doesn't quite have the same ring to it though.

BMC Speedfox 01 - First Ride
I think bikes targeting the "light weight cross-country trailbike segment" should have 29" wheels across all sizes. I'd be interested if the small were available in 29.

Brilliant or Bullshit? – Pinkbike Poll
@Balgaroth: Evidently, you haven't experienced the assortment of rim brakes... I've run all of the following over the years: side-pull, u-brakes, cantilevers, and v-brakes; and I would say disc brakes (which have become very good within that last 10 years) are huge.

Scott Spark 900 - Review
That is such a different bike, in travel, geometry and purpose (Top Fuel is pure XC). Also, it's closer to a 4# difference, which would be closer to 3# with the dropper swap. A more apt comparison would be the Spark RC.

Endura MT500 Pack - Review
@mollow: Hah to the LSC adjuster! re: tire pressure, I'm talking about flats or significant burps (rare these days) or punctures that take a bit to seal. If it's a short ride, I'm not going to fret over a few PSI, but if I have hours left out there, I like to be precise. Also, I'm often on a hardtail with carbon rims where I don't want to get bounced around at too high or blow up a rim if too low. If I'm on the full squish with alu rims, I'm not so picky.

Endura MT500 Pack - Review
@mollow: Small changes in pressure can have a pretty big impact on ride quality, flat/rim protection, etc. If I lose pressure on-trail for any reason, I like to be able to get it right when adding air. +1 pressure gauge carry (Topeak SmartGauge).
