Santacruz Bronson CC XO1

$3000 USD
2016 Santacruz Bronson CC size Medium with XO1 build kit. This bike is mostly original except I have replaced the stock crankset with a Shimano XT crank and Chris King bottom Bracket. I also extended the fork from 150mm to 160mm. The bike has wear and tear associated with a few seasons of riding but it has been well maintained and works fine. This would be a great bike for anyone but especially for someone wanting to get a high end bike with great components at affordable price. Review: Five Ten Hellcat Pro Shoes
@philipmcm: I guess i think a shoe company should equip a shoe with the appropriate size lace if they are going to charge $150/pair...

Review: Five Ten Hellcat Pro Shoes
Im kind of over 5.10s. $150 for a ugly shoe that has laces that are always way too long, a heel that requires a shoe horn or it collapses, eyelets that rip out and soles that barely last a season? I wish Salomon would make an xa pro with a super grippy sole!

27.5 vs 29er vs 27.5+ with Peaty, Warner, T-Mo and Friends - Video
So far I prefer my bikes like a prefer my women, not plus size! Although as I age and my skills fall off maybe i'll switch to the "plus size needs love too" mentality...

It would be cool if Pinkbike included a rolling speed test for all of their bike reviews. The test would consist of descending a known, smooth incline plane with a rider of know weight (i.e.150lbs), constant (i.e.30psi) tire pressure and tread (i.e. Maxis Minion), similar shock settings and zero pedaling. Would be interesting to see how all the wheel sizes and bikes within wheel sizes stack up.

Santa Cruz Bronson: Review
I got this the Bronson V2 last September and I must say the bike continues to grow on me. It's a very fast, light bike that handles very well and seems to climb well too! I will say that i certainly use my CTD feature on my fox shock though as the bike is not as efficient when in the decent mode. When in the Trail mode it climbs similar to my previous bike (2006 Blur 4x with DHX air). One thing I have noticed is that the bike is a little noisy. The noise seems to be related to the drivetrain. Although it comes with a clutch mech is seems to be noticeable. Not a bad noise but not exactly a whisper quiet bike while descending. I ordered the hardware necessary to take the stock pike to 160mm however starting to feel as though it won't be necessary.
