The Privateer: Racing Against The Best at EWS Whistler
@brianpark: He is not a Privateer- the Factory Fox race set up by a Factory race tech episode is not something a “Privateer “ would receive- if he did he would pay for it - did you get a invoice ?? Did this season break even on “race day” sponsorship? Not corporate synergies - i would love to see the costs to run the race season- from gear to travel and entry fees - Privateer race teams track exposure for sponsorship rates but don’t produce media to charge advertising- unless contracted by the team sponsor and then its the sponsors media - not the production companies ( Pink Bike) What you have is a “In house team” for advertising benefits. Next year dont try to fool us with the “Privateer” moniker - Your a creative advertising man - do your job and come up with team name to promote

The Privateer: Racing Against The Best at EWS Whistler
Privateers can have sponsorships to cover the cost of running the season - just not factory race support - think nascar - teams buy the cars from builders or build them themselves then go get sponsors to cover the cost- drivers and teams keep the race winnings !

The Privateer: Racing Against The Best at EWS Whistler
yup - hardly a Privateer - he did a episode on Fox suspension with factory support mechanics giving him a custom race set-up I would like to see the bill from Fox . A Privateer can have sponsors for advertising to help fund the cost of a season but is his own team - purchasing all equipment and mechanical support . This doesn’t have to be at retail as in many sports privateers buy used/ last year equipment from Factory race teams or professional athletes plus get prodeals from sponsors. It would be great to see his advertising / sponsor revenue- including travel and / or entry bursaries vs his costs for a season including equipment.

Final Results - EWS Northstar 2019
this is Shawn Palmer territory - What part of “he just showed up and kicked ass” do you not understand! His obvious North Shore pedigree helps him in this terrain and balls that comes with it

BC Bike Ride Announces Expanded Tour Packages in British Columbia
@a-m-c: I respect Trailforks because they generally black-out / leave off trails and trail sections that cross / include native reserve and private lands in bc - is hiring this guide just giving you access? I know off lots of trails on native land that bands are ok with for locals - small amount and good stuards- but could be closed off if guides profit without consent that would close access for all - Dont test these trails - or the indigenous people - the locals and local shops are ones who loose
