@Germanmike Patrol is the bike company, not the model. click on the link and keep following it

@mobil1syn: don't worry, it's pretty clear he got there.

@lognar: they teased one in 2017… or mocked… but really what have you seen? I really hope they release something light weight lower battery like the Rise - can you give anything more?

@JosMaple: I want a 180-200 Patrol mullet with a 2.8 rear tire, 200 mil dual crown fork and a gigantic battery. My Karpiel weighs 52 pounds and I have problem rallying that thing down a hill. I hope we both get what we want.

That clothing video made me shudder. Ratty clothing, no helmets.

Really turns my barrel adjusters seeing Wolf Tooth call all their products limited. Nothing is limited edition if it comes back in stock next month.

After this week's Tuesday Tune is anyone going to rush out and replace their trunnion mount shock with an expensive version??

36$ for what a shower cap can do just as well?
  • 6 0
I think it’s more for mechanical damage rather than just rotor contamination. I will put a similar design up on Thingiverse next week for people with a printer.

 Or repurpose some bubble wrap?

I think its a good idea, however maybe it doesnt need packing like a delicate product to keep costs down. If it was in the $15-20 range it would be on my maybe list.

Also, why does it need to come in anything but the largest size? Which isn't even the largest size that rotors could be. A 220mm option would cover literally 99.9% of their customers

@Afterschoolsports: you’re right, looks like protection against bent rotors.. I didn’t bother to hit the link when I saw the price

i never thought about wearing a shower cap whilst washing my back , but thats a great tip it will stop me getting soap in my hair

Check with your LBS, these plastic discs come with many new bikes to protect rotors on the front wheel from damage in shipping. They probably throw them away most of the time.
  • 1 0
@TimMog: I’ll make it with clearance for my 225mm rotor. After all it’s no big deal to use it on a 180mm rotor.

 welcome to the corporate magic

 @MmmBones:

Can confirm we toss dozens into the recycling bin daily.

Came here to see a moto style on bike rotor protector...left disappointed.

Just need to know if the chain lube is food grade. Bike camping will get simpler if I can cook with my chain oil.

When does Emil even sit on a seat?

Wheelie Kids, making helmets uncool again.‍♂️

That was meant to be a face palm emoji, not the male symbol
