 Nice trail man, awesome bike. But wich is the difference in running a 8.5 shock insteado of a 8.75 like the stock one.

 the point of the article was that he didn't like the geometry because it had too steep a head angle and too high a bb. changing it for the shorter shock means that the bb was lowered and the head angle slackened, which was the intention in the first place. with regards to better or worse, that is personal preference, but he seemed to like it.
