those carpets are there because 2 days before contest i got really warmer (like +5°) so the snow was slush and started to rain. although while building it was -20°.
and also there is no elevation above sea-level, so the weather was pretty much against us

Nah not for me this one i'm afraid,1st class riding,but if ya gonna have a snow jam,use hardpack snow,not packed snow and a couple of acres of carpet,don't get me wrong i'm just blowing off a bit of steam.
But if i'm totally honest, which i guess is what you want me to be,it's not VOD material for me,though i can see why other people would disagree ,but it's my opinion,and my entitlement.:P

The guy a couple messages up said it got really warm, maybe thats why they couldn't do hard packed and had to use carpets because they definately were still gunna ride.

Oh nice one for pointing that out smells,i had no idea about celeb's comments,so apologies all around,especially to you ryys.
I know how dangerous it can get when snow kickers can get effected by warmth,the kicker turns all slippy and watery,very dangerous,not to mention collapses,so i apologise for reading the VOD wrong,and change my mind,cos to be able to go ahead with the comp in them conditions deserves VOD in itself,nevermind the fact that the riding was stellar,and the jumps were corkers,under the circumstances,so i take all my first comment back.
Once again sorry Ryys,the VOD rocked.

well we had to work very hard to make the track at least a little bit rideable...we had to use tons of carpets and rubber plates...you cant command weather

I hear ya celeb and i apologise once more for not doing my home work,i mean it's obvious that snow's the hardest stuff to work with in perfect conditions,nevermind putting a bit of summer down on things.
But the main thing is ya made it work,and the carpets sorted things right out in the end.
And the riding was just sublime for the conditions,they were riding off the scale.
So props all around,and i hope to speak with you again sometime celeb m8.
