I would be so worried about running over my dog if it could keep up with me like that. But that dogs a lab so it could handle it fine. I have known labs to get run over by skis and stuff and not really caring.

VTwintips, most dogs that are bred to be around horses are fine on a bike, i regularly take my two retrievers out on my bike and they understand that if they get in the way they get hurt so they avoid you effectively.

ya my family's border collie is pretty good around a bike too. better than the labs. however he is such a pussy that he wouldnt keep up with us in the woods because of soft feet, and if he ever did get run over he would actually get hurt. we used to have labs. they werent very smart. but one got hit by a car and was fine. one fell out of our car while going like 20mph and was fine. one got run over by a xc skier going down a hill pretty fast and there was no injury. the border collie got hit with a soccer ball and wont go within 50 ft of a soccer player anymore. point being that even though some dogs are good for those bike path riders, lab's are truely the best dog for trail cuz they are tanks, they have tons of energy, and they are fast too.

Yeah you must have the fittest dog in the world, I think mine would get about half an hour in and then just give up and sit down
