Sometimes it's about showing that there are women out there making it happen or stoking someone that has never rode a bike on dirt to give it a go.
I love a video where someone is balls out on a DH run or throwing bangers off everything but I'm also for trying to get more people to ride.
This is the type of video that says....buy a bike, give it a go.

Great video and great filming/editing!! And YES, this is VOD material. It's not all about fast DH and jumps. The North Shore is all about rocks, roots, ladders, skinnies etc. which requires a lot of skill. I trust all the posters with negative comments have ridden the North Shore and understand what I mean

Is this the first female VOD? I think it is worthy of VOD simply because not all of us can send it with "G" style and size, but it doesn't stop the average person from riding. Good angles, the "crash" reel at the end shows just what can happen on any trail. LOL...that trail is awesome, not sure how long it has been there but looks like a while? Keep em coming.

@pperini, i think the point was, they want more women to start biking, to expand the sport, because it is a very male dominated sport, but if you get more women racing, it wont be such a sausage fest....

it's not everyday when you see a VOD with just a female rider, thats probably why this became VOD, it shows that the biking world is not completely domminated by men, yeah, i agree with 'slayamatt' that i prefer more style and speed etc. but the fact that the girl in this video is able to do more than most male riders makes it a really good video, i see no point in everyones critisism on this video about the song or the speed, it just shows that you guys are picky, this is still one of my fave videos because it shows that biking is not over ruled by male riders. *waits for critisim on what i have just said..*

I always tell my girlfriend that if she got as good on a downhill bike as I currently am, she could be on the podium at a world cups.. Not to say its not rad that girls are out there riding, but it is amazing the difference between men and women. Rachel Atherton is about the only girl that I really think rips as hard on a bike as most pro males..
Still awesome to see anyone, male or female out there shredding and enjoying a sick trail to ride like you have here..
