hey man. im sure you've heard this loads before and i bet it pisses you off when you get asked it. apart from the DJ stuff, does any of the other stuff take skill. ive done drops and gaps(not as big as them) and for me its not hard to do it, its just getting balls. for sure it would get more skillfull if tricks were getting thrown down but to me all it is, is throwing yourself off a cliff and making sure your wheels land evenly
dont get me wrong i think what your doing keeping the sport alive is sick!

What you're saying is true, until you get into the utah style stuff with soft sand landings, and different angle take offs, different speeds ect...Basically when you hit drops above 20 ft it's a whole different ball game, you have to keep stable in the air, and holding on to the landings is insanely hard with higher drops, especially in rampage style stuff. And the ammount of skill it takes to negotiate the technical stuff is what separates us from the rest. Granted, yes, most people can hit a 30 ft drop, but can you hit 8 of them in a row, linked up with steep hills and techy sections and stop in time to not fly off the next one. Honestly, dirtjumping is FAR easier than old-school style freeriding. IMO anyways

gravity project- every time i read someone's comments on how easy it is to do huge drops and that any huckster has no skills, the profile of that person normally has NOTHING exciting in their profile. Why do young kids have sooo much trouble giving this style any credit?? Besides that, suicidedownhiller looks like he has a whole array of riding skills/style. Take it for what it is, hucking is hucking and dirtjumping, street, park are what they are and all of them have their challenges.

i think you may have misunderstood my comment. i was not saying it was easy, i was saying i dont find drops and gaps hard. i also said i have never done drops of the size wil does. to point i was getting at is as the drops get bigger is it easier or darder compared to say a 10ft drop?
i was not having a dig atall. just curious because this type of riding doesnt appeal to me therefore im not going to huck off some ledges.

Yeah, I understood what you were asking. Yeah, it's way harder the bigger you go. There's a reason very few people go much bigger than that. You are right though, for the most part on 10 ft drop, you just ride off and hold on
