 hey, only one person can win a race, but that doesn't mean everyone else doesn't have a good time man. as long as you're having fun...

 that's the attitude i had when i randomly decided to do a 6 hour xc race solo after only racing and riding dh for a season. It was really challenging, but i didn't even care how i finished while i was in the race because it was just a lot of fun riding my bike.

 Riding is about having fun on 2 wheels, the only person who cares how you do is you. Aim to get better and beat yourself, that could be with a line, time, skill... anything. That way you know you are progressing, the more you progress the more that is available to you and the more fun you can have. Enduro... is that not the name for an all mountain race these days, just the bikes have got bigger in the last 4 or 5 years.

 When you race, you are really racing against the clock and yourself. Give it a shot bik34life, I think you'll have a great time and realize friendly everyone is and how much fun you have. My only warning, its get addictive, and you always want to get better and faster.

 uhh.... no, because this guy is a world champion, so he'd probably destroy the majority of us on any bike.

 that's what i meant obviously. Nico was 10 time world champ. Unless Sam Hill is commenting here i guarantee he is waaaaaay faster than any of us.
