Yet again, a disappointing thumbnail for me... I will make a stand and not watch this video purely because they teased me twice now!!

@dynamatt, I hate to sound like all the horny little kids on PB, but I saw Lauren running around in yoga pants at Sea Otter. that booty is like a tractor beam!

Yeah Ace. No offense to The Morpheus team, nor the Kalaheo boys, who have built a super fun trail, but to say that place is one of "the best ever ridden" goes waaaaaaaay too far. It's like 2-5 min long! Uh, Whistler can't touch it Casey?

Groves must be a fun guy, definitely a glass half full attitude - that's what I attribute that comment to Kuhina. ahhaha, you're right but hell, these trails are the shit for sure, might be short, but they're sweet!

If you don't mind me asking, Kuhina, I own a condo in Waikiki (well my parents do) and when I come back from college we usually take trips there. I've never thought about trail riding there, so if you don't mind me asking would that trail be something that could be shared I know the place fairly well

Freerideguy - The first set of trails where the dude crashes while talking about not riding trail bikes is part of the St. Louis trails, off St. Louis road next to the University of Hawaii, not far from Waikiki. The second network of trails is on the north end of Kailua accessed off of a dirt access road on Iliaina St. Happy riding!

"It's more like a 3rd world country that has some how been incorporated into America..." Ignorance?

I've been told by several people (college students) that there's a local mentality that they don't like that they are part of the US, and that they don't take kindly to non-locals.

Junkyard11...have you ever been or lived here? Eldofreeride is right. It's a different game down here. If you haven't travelled the entire island than you wouldn't be aware of the feel and attitude that exists here. Though, it's not a pure "3rd world country" feel or attitude since the island is so mixed w/ people from EVERYWHERE.

My friend actually went there a while back and got little rocks thrown at him and called a weird name I can't remember what it was called but it was to insult non locals it's weird, but every place has good and bad people. Who knows he probably deserved it knowing him haha

Haha yup I'm sure.
I was born and raised on the big island. The 3rd world country comment is inaccurate, but the "not really incorporated into the US" is accurate. More of a sense of Hawaiian pride than USA pride there. Lots of great people tho, will treat you like family once you're 'in'. Get a good tan, find some nice locals to hang with, wear Hawaii type clothing, and start working on a slight pigeon accent, brah.
