hahah just tried this for the first time today, to start off i went down a fucking esculator and clipped the end of my bars but somehow manged to stay riding, then i waxed it in a corner and slid on my ass for like a good 6 meters

This vid has inspired me to do such things and really, i'm not out to hurt anyone. Its just the thrill of not being allowed to do it which is exciting.
Sure it draws attetion but isnt that what Street is... You go to ride sure... but whats riding with a little outside credit? I go to my local bikepark to not only ride for enjoyment, but to get noticed a little, spread my friends base... It helps when you know people like the fact that you do what you do.
BMXers fly about streets and theyre the same as skateboarders... Out to do what they want to do... and its occasionally fun to do something thrilling... Such as riding through a mall. It may give people bad views on us but who cares? They can go f*ck themselves for all I care... I still get to ride, even when I get banned from the mall or wherever.
Perhaps we should all go ride our bikes and forget about what people think of us...

FFS guys. Why the bitching? The guys had big rigs and full faces because that might have been all they have, no? I've done XC rides in a full face because it's the only helmet I had.
Maybe they got in a few peoples way, but no one hates on skaters who do it, why not us bikers? It's just a bit of harmless fun, no one got hurt so there's no problem. If someone gets hurt, well then maybe.
You can ride sensibly but still do stuff like this, like the two fellas in the video. They didn't set out to hurt anyone, and they didn't. Now look at the BMX'ers to FLY through places like this with no regard for public safety...none of you whine about them.

And to add to my previous comment. He put his foot down because he got the wrong line into the stairs. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes...or do all you people who noticed that NEVER make little mistakes?
Why try and do stuff (like manuals or wallrides and shizz) if you can't, or aren't very good? It's often just as fun to ride both wheels on the ground as doing other stuff. This video isn't about looking "cool", it's just about having a laugh.
Leave the guys alone. They didn't screw anyone up, so they don't deserve to be attacked for having fun. I'm sure YOU've done illegal stuff too, who cares.

as for bike rep there is no way you can prove to the world that bikers are goodies. too late for that. i get busted occasionally riding in outdoor skate parks. the reality is boys and girls, is the people who are payed to bust you: (DON'T GIVE A f*ckING SHIT ABOUT YOU) and they never will. all they care about is that they are enforcing the law to pay there bills. so all you gay MTB just give it up (society is paid to hate on us) and thats never going to change.
