Goldman indian flip for me. Maybe a duel with Dueck though, 'cuz that whip to indian grab was tight too. Goldman just looks like he's on an MX every time he executes a trick. Him, Montgomery, & McCaul, 3 baddest lookin' mofos on FMBs.
Jordies cork seven is a crazy trick no doubt about it but he's been doing that since like 5 years now or something.
Best trick should go to some new unique stuff like that whip to seat grab or something.
Or best trick should go to the best trick... Yeah he first pulled it off years ago but how many riders since then have landed it? Forget about pulling it off as smooth as him. That should speak volumes to how difficult that trick is and personally difficulty is a major factor in a best trick comp.... more so than being a new variation, as awesome as it is.
Hell, if a cork 7 is still a top contending trick 5 years after it was first pulled, that either speaks volumes about the trick itself or the state of progression in DJing in MTBing. Pick your poison
I disagree, I feel that innovation should also be a factor. Best trick is supposed to encourage riders to challenge what is possible on a bike. Doing a trick that he's been doing for five years isn't exactly pushing the limits of the sport
coady- so 3 other riders in five years with two of them being arguably, the best in the game... reaffirming my point. Also I don't know if you know this but BMX is just a tad different than MTBing, haha.
Yeah Semenuk is arguably/and in my opinion the best rider the sport of freestyle mountain biking has ever seen so the fact he pulled it off doesn't suprise me, this semi pro did it and totally greased the landing..... That is god d*** impressive ok idc what you say that has to be admitted! And honestly unless you can do it you can say its easy!
cork 7's are actually pretty damn easy compared to some other tricks, I know heaps of unknown riders who can do them, I don't personally have the balls to do it to dirt but I could land it to wheels on an airbag at the age of 15. I don't care if you believe me or if you think I talk a load of s***, but i'm just trying to say that innovation should be credited!
1, 2, 3 as follows
Sam Dueck
Jordie Lunn
Ray George
Those three stood out the most for me. I don't even know what to call the big trick Ray did but it was awesome.
I think it should go to me. I wasn't invited. But I'm really ridiculously good. People just don't understand that getting old, going slower and smaller is the new thing.

Brandon Semenuk, Andi Wittmann, Anthony Messere, others as well with a ton of BMXers.
