 Suck Suck, Jackie Suck !!

It appears to have 200mm of travel and the ability to succesfuly hold a wheel. That is what I can say from the information I've been given here....

Misfits! We need a little more of this and a little less electronic music. Even if it was only a 49 second video. Fork looks pretty nice too, will be interested to see the price.

'BULLET' -One of their finest! Forks look no better than my old Boxxers. You would surely have to ride 'em to tell?
  • 10 4
 Jackie suck????
This video sucks at providing any useful information...
This could be a video of Marzocchi Super T's straight from 2001 AFAIK

It does the product no justice IMHO....

It's a teaser you idiots. Of course there's going to be no info on it.

No doubt eh, the music selection is what really pissed me off. Speakers were up and it just starts screaming why!

Looks like a set of boxxers with 40's lowers.
  • 5 2
 This was a terrible video!
  • 1 0
 The handlebars look quite narrow
  • 1 0
I've had a go on a sample of these forks. They look good, and the removable plastic scratch guards on the lowers are a great idea well executed!
  • 1 0
For some reason the chrome lower crown and colors make me think it looks like an old Super T...
  • 22 0
 looks like they work then?
  • 10 7
 Yer but for how long?

my x fusion vector i had lasted just fine, especially compared to the rs vivid i had and the velvet i used on my xc bike proved to be alot more reliable than the marzocchi 44's i had.if these are anything to go by theyre going to last just fine. x fusion is a company that's pumping out suspension units that are way better than most people give them credit for and truth be told are not a million miles away from the big three power names in terms of performance, i'd like to have a go on a set to see how they compare, it could prove interesting

I agree with manza, I ride an X-Fusion vengeance and its awesome! I have ridden Highland and Trestle where the fork performed admirably. Soaked up 8 foot drops and 20 foot kickers and led me down the race track at Highland without a problem. I also run this fork (170mm) on trail rides and it climbs well and descends like a man. It is a tad heavy and so it does detract a bit from climbing, but I can still beat my XC friends up climbs. X-Fusion makes good stuff and I would love to try this fork.

i don't know why but x-fusion has a kind of prejudice. i've had my Vengance HLR Coil for about 3 months now and they are just fine. nice and plush with great adjustibility and a sick price. they're better then my previous marzo 55s. i would recomend to my friends.
  • 3 0
Dude juanhead, if you can beatbyour frien on an xc climb with a 170mm fork, your either really fast and fit or your xc friends are wannabe xc biker

 1 thumb^^

  • 27 0

  • 8 0
xfusion is generally pretty good with their pricing. i think it will be affordable because i am also poor as fuck.

Air-Sprung System (Air Bleed Valves like Fox 40 RAD? Can't 100% Tell), 34-36mm Alu Stanchions - Standard Gold Hard-Ano w/ PTFE Impregnation, Lowers = ?Standard Mag Cast? (Resembles Velvet Lowers but Bigger), Slimmed Raw Crowns,
Most Likely HLR Adjustments, 2 Interesting Tiny Screw holes below Bleed Valves, Prototype/Test Sticker + Wheel Flex @ 0:07

Knowing X-Fusion, fork is probably extremely light (maybe lightest?), Lowers look really thinned out.
  • 2 0
it s not air bleed valve , it s a grease valve to keep your foam greasy in the inside and keep your fork working well !
  • 1 0
 Ahh kk. Well, that's interesting.
  • 1 0
It's a hole to screw on a plastic anti scratch guard. I've seen this fork in the flesh and it looks good. And 36mm legs
  • 14 4
 Looks like a Trek Session
  • 10 3
Hah, suddenly, the market of double-crown forks is overpopulated and not like it used to be - only 3-4 options... Smile
But still, my favourites are the DVO Emerald and the Manitou Dorado! Smile
  • 14 1
Manitou dorado pro best fork I ever owned Big Grin
  • 3 2
there are more brands to come out this year but I wont tell you wait and see Wink
  • 7 1
FUCK YEAH. Finally some real music in a video. Fiend for Life.
  • 2 0
I agree... was getting burned out with the indie and folk rock. I love the Mifits....
  • 7 0
 I spot Telonics Wink
  • 3 0
that is, without a doubt, telonics. its cool to see your local trail in so many featured vids
  • 3 0
The only thing this video has proven is that I have spent way too much time in laguna...
  • 2 1
I have a vector air in the rear, and I have a vengeance air up front, I ride them both DH, I have ridden them at Whistler, and at Northstar, and they rip. No haste, easy to set, and forget. Not to mention the Customer Service is AWESOME! Did I mention I weigh 230 LB? No, well, I do, and if it works for my fat ass, it will certainly work for you 100-lb-nothings. Try them, theyre amazing, and cheaper.
  • 3 0
Cool. Maybe, we will see it in action with Pivot DH team on world cup
  • 2 0
If its 400 retail less than a fox 40 ill be picking this up instead... I saw this earlier in the day
  • 2 0
Watching this video I really can't tell if it works well. It only shows that it works, but I appreciate the point-of-view.
  • 3 0
Pinkbike needs more Danzig era Misfits
  • 3 0
People are over thinking the reasoning behind this video...
  • 1 0
That vid made me feel like I was having a seizure. Looks like a decent fork from the very limited perspective offered on this.
  • 1 0
aint that the lowers of a fox 40 rad but a little slimer looks like it because of does two litlle niplles on the back our it,s just me
  • 2 0

 ... or misfits
  • 2 0
its like an earthquake been finally tamed!
  • 3 0
 Fender mounts! Finally.
  • 4 3
ever heard of Mucky Nutz or RRP?
  • 8 2
Really? The publisher of this article asked if we could notice anything in particular about what we saw. In addition, I was the first to notice it. And now you're pretending to be a antagonist. No, I've never heard of Mucky Sluts or Dirty Dicks! Of course I've heard of them. Anyway, the positive side to having integrated mounts is... there's no need to waste countless zip-ties on the Dirty Turds. What's more, we could perhaps now have effectively better designs.
  • 3 2
Actualy, neither of these fenders require zipties
  • 2 1
i wonder about arch clearance ? 650B maybe?
  • 2 1
it actually looks more like those ports that we saw on the RAD 40's
  • 2 1
@Stuuriaan, It seems that you're probably correct about the air bleeder valves.
  • 2 0
Any more info on this bad boy?
  • 7 4
 Looks like Trek Session.
  • 2 0
exciting! Their rear shocks are awesome...time to match it up!!!
  • 2 0
 Looks like super T clamps...
  • 1 0
looks like the fork crown from an older marzocchi bomber that they filmed with an original go pro lol
  • 2 0
Wow, that vid was really..... pointless actually.
  • 2 3
I maybe and probably am wrong but was that a Kenda nevegal? If so that's your first mistake. Today has been all about some forks which is nice but if that fox 40 air comes out that's what I'm buying
  • 1 0
i didnt read all the comments but someone do notess what i was talking about does lowers are the same as the new 40 rad
  • 2 0
 That looks old school
  • 1 0
his brakes are the wrong way round?
  • 2 1
As someone who grew up in Japan and riding motorcycles, I too run my brakes 'moto style' as it is called here in the US. I think at some point, mechanics here put the rear brake on the right so they didn't have to reach across the bike to stop the rear wheel while working on drivetrains. Also helps for those who can't keep straight having a shifter for one end of the drivetrain being on the same side of the bar as the brake for the wheel at the other. Go figure.
  • 1 0
ahh nice, i didnt know some people find it hard to have shifters and brakes muddled up but it sort of makes sense, especially if you are used to it
  • 2 0

  • 1 0
Sorry to be a geek - what tyre is that?
  • 1 0
Looks like a Kenda Excavator to me. Good tire for those dry loose conditions.
  • 1 2
im seeing alot of compression, and taht looked like some pretty flat terrain for the most part, sooo i hope i will find some nice low speed compression on this bad boy.
  • 3 0
 trust me, its not flat
  • 2 1
Is this supposed to be a promo vid ? .... If so it's pretty shit !
  • 2 0
 Misfits!
  • 1 0

 Looks like a session
  • 1 0
 blue sky... no raining today...
  • 1 0
Dude it's bottoming out big time
  • 5 4
 XFUSION Y U NO INVERT?
  • 1 3
It's a hoax... The front wheel is not turning; he is doing a long manual. So in that case, you can't compress a fork while doing so. Cool view!
  • 1 1
A whole lot of braking going on there!
  • 1 2
Stupid video. I'll bet you can do better marketing, if you want so sell some forks?
  • 1 0
 千呼萬喚始出來...
  • 1 1
 Looks bigger than 200mm
  • 1 2
