Texas is the reason that the president's dead, you gotta suck suck, Jackie suck
(Mar 8, 2013 at 0:44)
Suck Suck, Jackie Suck !!
(Mar 8, 2013 at 5:34)
It appears to have 200mm of travel and the ability to succesfuly hold a wheel. That is what I can say from the information I've been given here....
(Mar 8, 2013 at 6:03)
Misfits! We need a little more of this and a little less electronic music. Even if it was only a 49 second video. Fork looks pretty nice too, will be interested to see the price.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 6:21)
'BULLET' -One of their finest! Forks look no better than my old Boxxers. You would surely have to ride 'em to tell?
(Mar 8, 2013 at 8:50)
This video sucks at providing any useful information...
This could be a video of Marzocchi Super T's straight from 2001 AFAIK
It does the product no justice IMHO....
(Mar 8, 2013 at 9:35)
It's a teaser you idiots. Of course there's going to be no info on it.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 12:29)
best song choice. Danzig before the burns.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 16:22)
No doubt eh, the music selection is what really pissed me off. Speakers were up and it just starts screaming why!
(Mar 9, 2013 at 9:00)
Looks like a set of boxxers with 40's lowers.
(Mar 9, 2013 at 19:43)
This was a terrible video!
(Mar 10, 2013 at 16:20)
The handlebars look quite narrow
(Mar 10, 2013 at 22:04)
I've had a go on a sample of these forks. They look good, and the removable plastic scratch guards on the lowers are a great idea well executed!
(Mar 13, 2013 at 12:18)
For some reason the chrome lower crown and colors make me think it looks like an old Super T...
(Mar 19, 2013 at 21:22)
(Mar 8, 2013 at 1:02)
looks like they work then?
(Mar 8, 2013 at 1:29)
Yer but for how long?
(Mar 8, 2013 at 5:28)
my x fusion vector i had lasted just fine, especially compared to the rs vivid i had and the velvet i used on my xc bike proved to be alot more reliable than the marzocchi 44's i had.if these are anything to go by theyre going to last just fine. x fusion is a company that's pumping out suspension units that are way better than most people give them credit for and truth be told are not a million miles away from the big three power names in terms of performance, i'd like to have a go on a set to see how they compare, it could prove interesting
(Mar 8, 2013 at 10:30)
I agree with manza, I ride an X-Fusion vengeance and its awesome! I have ridden Highland and Trestle where the fork performed admirably. Soaked up 8 foot drops and 20 foot kickers and led me down the race track at Highland without a problem. I also run this fork (170mm) on trail rides and it climbs well and descends like a man. It is a tad heavy and so it does detract a bit from climbing, but I can still beat my XC friends up climbs. X-Fusion makes good stuff and I would love to try this fork.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 17:43)
i don't know why but x-fusion has a kind of prejudice. i've had my Vengance HLR Coil for about 3 months now and they are just fine. nice and plush with great adjustibility and a sick price. they're better then my previous marzo 55s. i would recomend to my friends.
(Mar 10, 2013 at 5:48)
Dude juanhead, if you can beatbyour frien on an xc climb with a 170mm fork, your either really fast and fit or your xc friends are wannabe xc biker
(Mar 13, 2013 at 1:29)
(Mar 8, 2013 at 1:02)
hopefully its affordable vs fox or rockshox.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 9:43)
gat damn right sir im poor as fuck
(Mar 8, 2013 at 14:39)
xfusion is generally pretty good with their pricing. i think it will be affordable because i am also poor as fuck.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 17:41)
im broke too, thats why i buy off pb
(Mar 8, 2013 at 6:11)
Music I don't have to mute, finally!
(Mar 8, 2013 at 1:41)
Air-Sprung System (Air Bleed Valves like Fox 40 RAD? Can't 100% Tell), 34-36mm Alu Stanchions - Standard Gold Hard-Ano w/ PTFE Impregnation, Lowers = ?Standard Mag Cast? (Resembles Velvet Lowers but Bigger), Slimmed Raw Crowns,
Most Likely HLR Adjustments, 2 Interesting Tiny Screw holes below Bleed Valves, Prototype/Test Sticker + Wheel Flex @ 0:07
Knowing X-Fusion, fork is probably extremely light (maybe lightest?), Lowers look really thinned out.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 3:38)
it s not air bleed valve , it s a grease valve to keep your foam greasy in the inside and keep your fork working well !
(Mar 8, 2013 at 9:07)
Ahh kk. Well, that's interesting.
(Mar 10, 2013 at 22:05)
It's a hole to screw on a plastic anti scratch guard. I've seen this fork in the flesh and it looks good. And 36mm legs
(Mar 8, 2013 at 1:55)
Hah, suddenly, the market of double-crown forks is overpopulated and not like it used to be - only 3-4 options...
But still, my favourites are the DVO Emerald and the Manitou Dorado!
(Mar 8, 2013 at 2:46)
Manitou dorado pro best fork I ever owned
(Mar 8, 2013 at 7:37)
there are more brands to come out this year but I wont tell you wait and see
(Mar 8, 2013 at 11:14)
I spot Telonics
(Mar 8, 2013 at 12:11)
that is, without a doubt, telonics. its cool to see your local trail in so many featured vids
(Mar 8, 2013 at 15:13)
The only thing this video has proven is that I have spent way too much time in laguna...
(Mar 8, 2013 at 13:47)
FUCK YEAH. Finally some real music in a video. Fiend for Life.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 20:12)
I agree... was getting burned out with the indie and folk rock. I love the Mifits....
(Mar 8, 2013 at 3:22)
Looks like a Trek Session
(Mar 8, 2013 at 14:53)
I have a vector air in the rear, and I have a vengeance air up front, I ride them both DH, I have ridden them at Whistler, and at Northstar, and they rip. No haste, easy to set, and forget. Not to mention the Customer Service is AWESOME! Did I mention I weigh 230 LB? No, well, I do, and if it works for my fat ass, it will certainly work for you 100-lb-nothings. Try them, theyre amazing, and cheaper.
(Mar 9, 2013 at 5:07)
aint that the lowers of a fox 40 rad but a little slimer looks like it because of does two litlle niplles on the back our it,s just me
(Mar 8, 2013 at 12:48)
People are over thinking the reasoning behind this video...
(Mar 8, 2013 at 4:58)
Cool. Maybe, we will see it in action with Pivot DH team on world cup
(Mar 8, 2013 at 11:48)
Pinkbike needs more Danzig era Misfits
(Mar 8, 2013 at 14:27)
That vid made me feel like I was having a seizure. Looks like a decent fork from the very limited perspective offered on this.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 10:15)
Watching this video I really can't tell if it works well. It only shows that it works, but I appreciate the point-of-view.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 2:07)
If its 400 retail less than a fox 40 ill be picking this up instead... I saw this earlier in the day
(Mar 8, 2013 at 0:20)
its like an earthquake been finally tamed!
(Mar 8, 2013 at 0:39)
Any more info on this bad boy?
(Mar 8, 2013 at 10:15)
looks like the fork crown from an older marzocchi bomber that they filmed with an original go pro lol
(Mar 8, 2013 at 20:13)
I maybe and probably am wrong but was that a Kenda nevegal? If so that's your first mistake. Today has been all about some forks which is nice but if that fox 40 air comes out that's what I'm buying
(Mar 8, 2013 at 12:45)
good vid! great song!! really fits!!
(Mar 9, 2013 at 23:27)
... or misfits
(Mar 8, 2013 at 0:33)
Fender mounts! Finally.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 0:41)
ever heard of Mucky Nutz or RRP?
(Mar 8, 2013 at 2:14)
Really? The publisher of this article asked if we could notice anything in particular about what we saw. In addition, I was the first to notice it. And now you're pretending to be a antagonist. No, I've never heard of Mucky Sluts or Dirty Dicks! Of course I've heard of them. Anyway, the positive side to having integrated mounts is... there's no need to waste countless zip-ties on the Dirty Turds. What's more, we could perhaps now have effectively better designs.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 3:11)
Actualy, neither of these fenders require zipties
(Mar 8, 2013 at 4:34)
i wonder about arch clearance ? 650B maybe?
(Mar 8, 2013 at 12:33)
it actually looks more like those ports that we saw on the RAD 40's
(Mar 8, 2013 at 22:54)
, It seems that you're probably correct about the air bleeder valves.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 19:04)
Wow, that vid was really..... pointless actually.
(Mar 9, 2013 at 5:11)
i didnt read all the comments but someone do notess what i was talking about does lowers are the same as the new 40 rad
(Mar 8, 2013 at 7:01)
Looks like super T clamps...
(Mar 8, 2013 at 6:14)
exciting! Their rear shocks are awesome...time to match it up!!!
(Mar 8, 2013 at 15:33)
(Mar 10, 2013 at 15:21)
blue sky... no raining today...
(Mar 9, 2013 at 9:11)
Looks like a session
(Mar 8, 2013 at 15:35)
his brakes are the wrong way round?
(Mar 9, 2013 at 23:37)
As someone who grew up in Japan and riding motorcycles, I too run my brakes 'moto style' as it is called here in the US. I think at some point, mechanics here put the rear brake on the right so they didn't have to reach across the bike to stop the rear wheel while working on drivetrains. Also helps for those who can't keep straight having a shifter for one end of the drivetrain being on the same side of the bar as the brake for the wheel at the other. Go figure.
(Mar 11, 2013 at 17:04)
ahh nice, i didnt know some people find it hard to have shifters and brakes muddled up but it sort of makes sense, especially if you are used to it
(Mar 8, 2013 at 0:24)
(Mar 8, 2013 at 16:35)
Telonics? Too muddy in Santa Cruz?
(Mar 8, 2013 at 18:16)
kenda excavator the best tire
(Mar 8, 2013 at 13:42)
Is this supposed to be a promo vid ? .... If so it's pretty shit !
(Mar 8, 2013 at 7:09)
Sorry to be a geek - what tyre is that?
(Mar 8, 2013 at 7:38)
Looks like a Kenda Excavator to me. Good tire for those dry loose conditions.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 11:24)
That looks old school
(Mar 8, 2013 at 8:04)
im seeing alot of compression, and taht looked like some pretty flat terrain for the most part, sooo i hope i will find some nice low speed compression on this bad boy.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 14:01)
trust me, its not flat
(Mar 8, 2013 at 0:42)
california , saint 2011 brakes , khs bikes
(Mar 10, 2013 at 18:34)
Dude it's bottoming out big time
(Mar 9, 2013 at 23:41)
Stupid video. I'll bet you can do better marketing, if you want so sell some forks?
(Mar 10, 2013 at 9:21)
(Mar 8, 2013 at 16:53)
A whole lot of braking going on there!
(Mar 8, 2013 at 6:16)
XFUSION Y U NO INVERT?
(Mar 8, 2013 at 8:17)
It's a hoax... The front wheel is not turning; he is doing a long manual. So in that case, you can't compress a fork while doing so. Cool view!
(Mar 8, 2013 at 23:09)
Looks bigger than 200mm
(Mar 10, 2013 at 13:22)
Garbage, fox 40 for life!
(Mar 8, 2013 at 0:41)
Below threshold threads are hidden
(Mar 8, 2013 at 1:58)
Looks like Trek Session.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 2:36)
So now we have rockshox
Dvo ( sr suntour for those who don't know)
Nice handful of options. I put those names in order from best to worst fyi
(Mar 8, 2013 at 2:54)
So you have ridden the DVO and the X-fusion to be able to put that in order then?
(Mar 8, 2013 at 2:59)
And what about SR Suntour's own DH fork - did you forget about it? Check with your sources what exactly the connection between Suntour and DVO is!
Not to mention you've forgotten RST's DH fork as well.
And on top of that, you've got your order of names totally wrong!
(Mar 8, 2013 at 4:00)
Bos ? anyone ?
(Mar 8, 2013 at 5:00)
what was the point in putting this up?
I have to say some right shit they seem to be putting on PB these days.
what was the point in that?
yeah great marvellous what a pile of shit...... there has to be a better site than this shit?
(Mar 8, 2013 at 15:19)
What was the point of your comment?
(Mar 8, 2013 at 9:29)
Norbs was robbed
(Mar 8, 2013 at 11:22)
not funny any more
(Mar 8, 2013 at 3:44)
What did I notice, another fork video, sorry did I miss something spectacular, oh it didn't bottom out, neither do my Totems on a similar trail. Try again on bigger hits and we'll comment again.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 4:53)
It isn't about bottoming out, but rather how it reacts to different turf. It is likely your totem doesn't react as much to both small and big chunder. Not mocking your totem, just it isn't designed for dh as much as fr. Thia fork looks pretty responsive.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 5:45)
I think they are just creating a little buzz. People have been asking when X-Fusion is going to make a DH fork, and this just shows that it is in the works. They even call the video a "leak", not a promo video of a product that is currently available. I'm sure when the product is ready for the public we will see more details. I really like my X-Fusion Vengeance and think these guys know what they are doing.
(Mar 8, 2013 at 12:18)
ahh the great fork debate, ok so we have another set of forks on the market and we have a promo video of them in action, seriously its just coming down to which fork will look better on your bike, as with most new products on the market we have to rush out and buy it, like my Boxxer WC, Fox 40's, Marzocchi etc. The marketing team of X-Fusion certainly have got the world talking about their new fork with this video. Its a good marketing campaign, now all we need to see is how competitive on price they will be and then check back at sales figures in 12 months time.
(Mar 10, 2013 at 14:14)
My x-fusion vengence forks are not good. At all. Hate them.
