Cam Zink is one of the true gladiators of mountain biking, a rider that's not afraid to give it his all, injuries or consequences be damned. That was the story this past season, as Zink competed in the first ever X Games slopestyle competition with a separated shoulder, and then stomped the biggest backflip the mountain bike world had ever seen at the Red Bull Rampage, just a few short days after being hospitalized to have a hematoma drained. He's an incredible athlete, one with the ability to push through pain and fear to accomplish feats that are unfathomable to most riders.
With a resume that lists wins at the biggest stops on the circuit – Crankworx Whistler, Red Bull Rampage, Chatel Mountain Style – Zink is no stranger to the top step of the podium, and shows no signs of slowing down. To make sure Cam's adventures don't go undocumented, Pinkbike is proud to announce that Cam Zink will be a sponsored media rider for the 2014 season, delivering fresh content throughout the year.
Although Cam has had the occasional
guest appearance here on Pinkbike, for 2014 he's going to be an official member of the team. He'll even have his own column, giving readers a chance to see what goes on in the mind of one of the world's hardest charging mountain bikers. Plus, he'll be providing exclusive POV course checks from the FMB World Tour, bringing viewers along for the ride at every stop of the series. For the Instagram addicts out there, Cam will also be taking over the
Pinkbike account from time to time, sharing photos from his latest exploits and adventures. There are even more projects in the works, so stay tuned to see what unfolds.
| I am proud to announce this new partnership with Pinkbike, not only the biggest biking website but the world's biggest action sports website. PB delivers all you need to know and more in the world of mountain biking and I will try to keep delivering riding and content worthy of them promoting! I will be continuing on as a contributor, producing my own stories and articles and other exclusive content, as well as representing at events in 2014. There's simply no better place to have my voice heard and I'm stoked to be on board for 2014. Thank you Pinkbike for the support! - Cam Zink |
| With Cam it's really about always moving things to the next level, and doing it in as big a fashion as possible. Zink always looks at things with a fresh perspective and is willing and able to turn it up at a moment's notice. We're proud to have a guy that is not only killing it on the bike, but building his business with the Sensus brand and supporting his family as well. He's not afraid to question the status quo and nobody pushes the envelope quite like he does, and he does it with a style that's all his own - those are qualities that Pinkbike aspires to every day. We will continue to break new ground in the media landscape with MTB content and having Cam on board is an absolute no brainer! - Julian Coffey, Pinkbike Publisher |
Pinkbike is excited to have Cam Zink on board for 2014, and can't wait to see what he comes up with. If you have any suggestions about what you'd like to see from him this season, fire away in the comments section below.

Here you guys go! Enjoy!
Good luck though! Maybe it can be Cam's official site
Mr Zink has an iron penis ?
"Pinkbike is excited to have Cam Zink on board for 2014, and can't wait to see what he comes up with." - Probably a back flip or a 360 over/off of something with a bunch of hype poured on top. :/
"If you have any suggestions about what you'd like to see from him this season, fire away in the comments section below." - OK, you asked for it. How about something besides a flip or a 360? How about a professional level of respect for all of the newer generation of your peers, most of which ride at a level that you can't possibly keep up with? If you try to win another contest by only flipping or spinning the biggest thing on course & you actually win, how about giving your trophy/prize to the guy beside you who actually deserves it? How about just being happy that you're fortunate enough to make any sort of living just by riding a bike in the right places at the right times?
Good luck dude. I think you're gonna be needing it more & more in the coming years.
But seriously why's nobody ranting about the fact that there's no chainguide on his bike in the lower picture...?
Waki maybe?
In this prototype from hyper to Rampage he did not use too.

Are those panels on the front of the pants actually a pouch for Cam's gonads?
